They had a video demo. Don't look at the video on their website which shows video smooth as butter, but some youtube video of reviewers show latency if you are going to control it over the internet. Home network should be smoother. Not to mention that the wheels on wheel that allows it to strafe is pretty small and probably will not handle shaggy carpent very well, you can forget about the backyard. The robot is capapable of navigating itself to preprogrammed locations. For that to work you have to have the infrared module for each room else it can't locate itself. Each led module that projects a beam to your ceiling is 20 bucks each. You'll need one for every room where you want to preprogram locations for it to go to. Latency is not too bad since it can navigate itself, you don't need instantaneous live video for it. I don't know how the led works if you don't have a flat cealing.
For those looking for a device strictly for reading, the new Kobo is a nice little option. It's small enough to slip into a pocket, can do more with a PDF than the competition, and at $129, it's $10 cheaper than both the Nook and Kindle WiFi.

Two show-stoppers for me:
No WPA? I'm not gonna use Wiretap Equivalency Protocol here for any reason.
Web Browser support. IE is for emergency use only, there's no reason they couldn't get full motion video and audio in any browser other than laziness.
They'll get these fixed in future firmware releases, I'm sure, then I'll look at it again. Nice product except for the above.
A couple of details that no-one has touched on yet:
What are the bandwidth and latency requirements for running this thing smoothly?
How does the tracker work on rooms with tilted ceilings?
Still, the price point is great!
