Digital Foci ships new Image Moments 6 digiframe
Given that Digital Foci's IMT-062 was getting a bit long in the tooth, we'd say it's about time a suitable successor hit the streets. The IMT-063, or "The Executive" as its known around the office, is the outfit's very latest Image Moments 6 digiframe, which features a 5.7-inch 640 x 480 display, LED backlighting, a two-tone chrome finish, 450MB of internal storage space, support for a multitude of card formats and USB 2.0 connectivity. Better still, the frame will also play back audio and video files, and the auto-rotate orientation sensor will keep your curious youngsters occupied for hours. Look for this one to leave the shipping dock next week for $149.

Why do digital frames always have to look this gaudy?

A photoframe PMP? What's the point? I mean, surely you could just use your computer/phone/TV/console, Etc. Oh well, I'm sure someone will buy it.

Old people who are afraid to use technology with anything but a remote for fear of breaking it can have PMP's too now!

My 7" lumatron digi frame plays music and videos too and thats why I bought it .
I love to see its slide shows with some music as background when I cook (it's in the kitchen) in fact I also connected two good amplified PC speakers to it.
I'm even more happy that it can play video files , because sometimes I make short videos of my child or my of friends, with my cell phone or my little videocam, and my lumatron frame switches to video mode and back to photo without problems and without interrupting the soundtrack of my memories.
I don't use much its wifi capabilities, but sometimes I like to listen to web radio, podcasts or the files stored in my NAS , which considered what internet radios cost ATM it's a good thing.
It's UI includes also a page with calendar and alarm clock (at the set time starts music and pics) which in the kitchen is always useful.
Excluded the speakers I gave 55 euros for it and the photos look much better and colorful than on the Philips I have seen at the mall.

iMate Momento still pwns this thing. No SideShow support? And what is that hole in the frame for? FAIL.

Whatever happened to the wireless pixxa from CES? That was supposed to be out by now even Amazon doesn't have a date any more?
That was by far the most intriguing digital frame compared to this glut of 640x480 frames

I like the ripped-off Final Cut Pro icons
