Vodafone's BlackBerry Storm art department all soon to be fired

In case you're reading this after these images get taken down -- which they inevitably will be -- this was the official marketing material posted tonight by RIM's Storm launch partner, Vodafone.

The pasted OS images probably hide/replace the actual working OS on the iBerry 1.0
They would have been used to enhance the sense of scale / context of the images so when being placed on t'web they had an idea to the legibility of how the OS might look, withough giving too much away.
I bet it was a a web dev that did it, on a dell.
Apple will have fun with this!
If you need to compare it to a iPhone, just by a iPhone!

Even if this was a temp. pages with stuff not meant for public eyes, why use a competitor's images anyway? Why even take that risk? They could have just as easily left the screens blank or text with "pic of browser here" or something. When no one's safe from hackers and the like why be so stupid?

wow, its a bad photoshop. its so easy to see. look at the pics with the phone online on the new york times page, if you look on all of the other pics, there is a blackberry logo on the top, on those, its covered up, but not all the way. not trying to hate, good try

I love the new york times article. "democrats take control of congress." It isn't complete. It should be followed by "in the next 2 years, the economy will go to crap because the Dems will do nothing" And then it should say "They will cause the biggest financial mess since the Great Depression by forcing the feds to ease up on subprime borrowers, and dissapproving Bush's PROPOSED REGULATIONS.
