It is nice to know lenovo got it right. I was a bit.... apprehensive?
The pricepoint is good, though I, like the reviewer, wish there was a larger battery option. Will wait for that

"IdeaPad" would have been a great name for a small device with a writeable surface (touch screen). Of course, ThinkPad would have too. We're far from the original visions of Kay et all's DynaPad, completely constrained by the limitations of contemporary operating systems.

Missing the red-dot? That's my favorite IBM/Lenovo feature...

Fantastic - I was hoping it was a standard 2.5" drive - anyone know any reason why it wouldn't be happy with a 500GB 2.5" 9.5mm high Seagate drive?
I really want this to be my portable download station and music server. I have next to no space in my apt and dont want to invest in a Sonos or similar. This will be on 24/7 downloading stuff and playing it out through whatever sound system I happen to be within pluggable range. Goodbye $399!

The lack of a IBM nipple is unexcusable in a little laptop.
I also want one designed with teh 6 cell built into the design.
