Won't fly in the business world...
But it's ok for a Sci-Fi/Video Game convention of some sort...

I think it would work at Google and some of the more relaxed companies in Silicon Valley... I think they're cool and quite geek-chic. Oh, and your user name just made me projectile vomit, just thought you should know.

pat1202003 @ Oct 20th 2008 5:45PM
Cool! How about a NES controller tie pin to go along with it?
schtum @ Oct 20th 2008 1:54PM
Forget the NES games, check out that giant penny!

I think if you worked for a business that had a sense of humor this would fly. Kind of like the funky neck ties that are out there. They look like somewhat regular business attire from afar but it's not until you get up close that you realize the tie has little gremlins or something all over it. :) It's the same with these.

in 10 years time, i dont think that mini dvds will attract the same sort of reminiscent chic as old school gaming stuff does now...
I dont think an Xbox 360 will be quite the object of nostalgia.
ebob9 @ Oct 20th 2008 2:17PM
Damn, sold out.. And I'm getting married in 11 months! WTH will I wear now?!?
chefgon_ign @ Oct 20th 2008 2:19PM
Full-size cartridges.
Greg @ Oct 20th 2008 3:16PM
Here are some other cool cufflinks, the panic ones might be good for your wedding, although the missus might not like that.

Woohoo, found that they have NES control pad cufflinks!
http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5497619&order=§ion_id=&page=1
They also have an ebay store, which had 15 of the NES controller pads in stock. Score! Now to tell the bride, wish me luck!

You've been waiting all you life to promote that, huh?
leo @ Oct 20th 2008 2:21PM
actually in some parts of london, like hoxton, those'll help you get laid.
phanbouy @ Oct 20th 2008 2:41PM
well, at least it won't reduce your chances of a lay from Laura Swingle
John @ Oct 20th 2008 2:52PM
She'd also probably be pretty understanding about needing to blow on your junk a few times to get the sex to work properly.
Eli Gundry @ Oct 20th 2008 10:29PM
Kind of off topic, but is your icon Murray from Flight of the Conchords?

what are the chances i can score a pair of UMD cufflinks when they become nostalgic in 20 years?
Lowest Ranked @ Oct 20th 2008 3:09PM
UMD's have already made themselves a nostalgic piece of history.
kal326 @ Oct 20th 2008 3:11PM
I'm pretty sure UMD's will never be nostalgic, just like how a Ford Pinto will never be a classic car.
ishism @ Oct 20th 2008 8:33PM
Why you gotta go dissing the Pinto?
TavisJohn @ Oct 20th 2008 3:07PM
Why did you show the ok Tetris and Mario/Duck Hunt ones. The gold Zelda ones are more likely to fly at most businesses... As the gold color would fool most people at a glance.

Instructions: Blow forcefully into cufflinks in order to put them on.
sinai @ Oct 20th 2008 3:43PM
im holding out for the little pink piggy cufflinks.
JoeNES @ Oct 20th 2008 4:56PM
I think these are awesome, being an NES fan as you can guess, but I hate to say it's only a matter of time until the Big N sues the hell out of these people. The NES hardware's patent may have expired, but the copyrights on the carts and characters lives on...
dvsbstrd @ Oct 20th 2008 5:00PM
I paid $200 for this shirt like, a year ago, and already the buttons are flashing red and the shirt is blinking from black to gray.
Not pleased with my purchase.
dee @ Oct 20th 2008 5:27PM
They need to make gold Zelda and Zelda II cartridge cufflinks.
Alain @ Oct 21st 2008 11:53PM
I've always been a big fan of the following cufflinks as well :)

A little pricy but more recent and they definitely look great on any playstation fan!
