Oh and the one thing that blow the iHype out of the water is the fact that you can have services running in the background. I have http://www.instamapper.com installed on my G1 and its always running. Friends can track me on my LJ and if I'm in the area can call me up for lunch, or whatever. I already had someone do this Monday afternoon when I was in the area repairing a Lexmark. Meanwhile Apple only allows active windows to...well be active. Fuck you Apple.
The phone has 256MB of RAM and a 1GHz processor, which do the job reasonably well, though the Anna interface will likely leave something to be desired for many smartphone users.
