iPhone 3G, BlackBerry Storm and Bold compared on video: awkward...

One might think that the BlackBerry Bold and the BlackBerry Storm could get along together, but similar to twin brothers who both aspire to graduate Magna Cum Laude from an Ivy league school, these two aren't exactly the most loving of siblings. Oh, and toss in that iPhone 3G -- which played a huge role in helping Apple sell more phones than RIM last quarter -- and you've got yourself a bona fide mess. Check out all three getting shoved up on one another in the name of comparison just after the break. It's a little uncomfortable at first, but you'll get used to it.

iPhone still kills the Bold in my opinion.

But that's if I was going to get a touchpad only cell phone. I was a few months ago but the iPhone didn't offer anything huge in terms of improvement and after seeing the pricing scheme that AT&T had devised I was turned off by the whole thing.

So now I'm sticking with Sprint and getting the Touch Pro.

I love Apple and I think the iPhone is a great product. But right now it's not for me.

I don't understand why people compare the Bold to the iPhone, it's like comparing Apples to Bricks. They are very different styles of phones going after different sorts of people. They offer very different things. One appeals to those who likes buttons, the other for people who may like a large screen or are just afraid of buttons. Though in this case it was just comparing the size, so why does that even matter. What was the point in this? What was the point in me writing this? And in case someone actually responds, what was the point in even responding to this?

I have mentioned this before. These "me too" companies should stop creating these videos. It only makes their devices look clunky. It also further enforce that these were designed to basically copy the iPhone. Albeit poorly.

Well when I was choosing a new phone a month ago I went with teh Bold over the iphone even though it cost me more. For a few reasons. I'm heavy into txting and the keyboard on the Bold is just superior to txting with the Iphone. Other things such as expandable memory and removable battery sealed it for me. I'm a gamer and if i want to play games ill use a ds. In terms of music playback i still use my ipod, the balckberry is manageable but until theres an auto update for podcasts ill be sticking with the ipod. Also part of the reason was pretty much everyone is getting an iphone, at least with teh Bold i was different. Dumb reason but that was part of it. The screen does appear more crisp but thats obviously because of the smaller size with the same contrast.
