Perfect.
More junk for our already burgeoning land fills.
i was too, but when you thing about it, ms has been a bitch about wireless controller licensing. maybe they tried?
surprised of lack of 360 support, that is.
i fail.
Agreeing reluctantly with meister...
I play guitar and Guitar Hero...
It's all about the PERCEIVED learning curve here, not the actual one.
It's all well and good to have fun, I mean hell, the value of Guitar Hero is that it's fun to compete.
But the kernel of truth here is that video games are becoming MORE and MORE--a proxy for the real world.
The moment a child or teenager or adult believes that they're incapable of doing the REAL thing and settle for a cheap facsimile we've sold out a portion of our massive social capital.
I think a better approach would be to let a REAL guitarist plug into a A/D converter and actually COMPETE with somebody playing Guitar Hero. What would be a better way to prove the point when you can see a Guitar Hero kid pwned by his friend who actually slings the six string?
you could buy a new "real" guitar for less and some lessons! I guess I am guilty of liking the game, but this is too much! I would rather see people spend some cash on a real guitar and start a band. check out www.startbands.com for more discussion about real vs. gaming musicians......
It's fine with me if someone wants to spend $250 on a Guitar Hero guitar instead of an actual electric guitar and amplifier. That just means there won't be as many other bands to compete with, and it will still be easy to get girls by telling them you play the guitar. If everyone put down the controller and picked up the real thing, no one's going to think twice about the fact that you play the guitar.
If you've got extra money to spend on this thing great. But if ya have that much dough, get a real guitar too. Fender mexican made strat $300, some are made well enough to hang with thier american made cousins. I mean if you're into guitar hero so much that'd ya'd honestly think about paying $250 for this thing...why not take the next step..make music..the world will be a better place.. well after the first few months of practice anyway.... heh heh
