Futuristic, cylindrical TVBE computer wants to rule your digital life
The geniuses over at CLVE Computers have, somehow, and at long last, managed to make a tiny Atom-powered PC that looks just like an evil but adorable garbage can with fangs. Inside the TVBE is a single or dual core 1.6 GHz Intel Atom CPU, the option of 1GB or 2GB of RAM, a 320GB or 500GB hard drive, and an Intel GMA 950 GPU. It also boasts an impressive six USB ports -- four on the bottom and two on the top -- on an otherwise austere exterior. The whole package weighs in at a breathtaking 9.9 pounds, and measures 9.6-inches tall. This bodacious beast is on sale today for the "fair and affordable" price of €299 (roughly $384) in Germany, with the promise of availability in other countries "in the very near future," which we can only hope means in time for the holidays.

But can it play crysis?
But do you realize what a pathetic looser you are?
loser... not looser.... internet (n) -- A place where even stupid people have a say.
hehe it looks like a sex toy........
What kind of sex are YOU having?
Wall-E would hit that
The non-existant kind.
that's what she said
You never mentioned what it actually does
Maybe this will help:

it looks like a square metroid
it looks round to me...
Domo-kun Elite.
Indeed
Damn it!
I would like to see what it looks like with cables plugged in. I get a feeling that those legs don't give much clearance! Plus even it does, it's going to look rubbish with all the cables coming out the bottom!
I'm sure that the cables won't come out of the bottom where they would be impossible to reach.
Probably they will come out of the side with the drives and some ports on the top,but some of the cables (those to leash to the monitor for ex.) could come out of the top too.
HIt the read link for pics and other info... yes the cables do come out the bottom
I really don't have any use for a desktop- my lappy is all I need. But if for some reason I did, for about 400$ I'd totally get this.
torrent box
I wonder if these could somehow be connected to one another. A series of TVBEs.
(had to do it.)
Is it just me or does it look like an onkyo subwoofer.
Yeah, I was wondering why a computer would have carpet spikes.
Uh, no wireless? No S-Video or DVI/HDMI? What kind of customer could they possibly be going for?
Hmm, so if they've made an animate trash computer, where's the Fruit Fuckers?
Those are carpet spikes, right?
No way you could get decent clearance if you had any sort of adapter.
Ah well.
Would be nice to put as your home media computer (fits in with the sub) but the gma 950 is like a crotch shot to the specs.
Stay away from this crap, its clearly a copy of the Apple Cube which came out something like 5 years ago.
But unlike the Apple Cube, they know how to put a fan in it.
did anyone else see PUBE?
