Victor Multi-Kill trap electrocutes mice, hates liberals

Daaaamn... this Victor Multi-Kill Electronic Mouse Trap is serious business. Normally we prefer more humane, wired domes to cage our furry house guests as they grab for the rich dark-chocolate morsels that tempt the palate of elite city-mice. We then release them into wee puddle-boats with tiny parasols to enjoy a feast of truffles glazed in a bit of saffron sauce. But all the gadgety goodness of this Multi-Kill trap makes us want to electrocute our pests into smoldering puffs of lifeless mouse just as Victor promises. The high-voltage shock is said to kill the mouse in 3 seconds followed by a swivel of the "Shock N' Drop" chamber to dump up to 10 carcasses into the collection drawer. "Population annihilation in just one night -- 100% kill rate guaranteed." Oh boy. Video after the break.

Yeah I don't like pets so cats is out of the question. Now when we first moved into our new home, we did have a few mice problem but was taken care of by some sticky glue thing. That thing is pretty inhumane I think, but this trap is awesome. Though I'd probably move out of the house if I had 10 or more mice to kill per night.
Im pretty sure give it time, and Mother Nature will just build a better mouse
Wow, the voiceover is just so chirpy and upbeat about a device that deals out death. Never had mice around but I've had to deal with a rats that tried to take up residence in my garden, pulling up flower bulbs etc. Killed one with poison and the other two with traps. Not very pleasant really but I don't know if I'd want to spend a fortune on a device when a simple trap does the job.
Thor Shield® *(For mice) ensures humans can't tase me, bro!
Ensure that your mice wont be killed on cheese raids, outfit them with the mighty Thor Shield® for mice...$19.99
Pointe Pest Control FTW!
I own a smaller version of this from Victor 'cause my last apartment had a small menagerie of mice that would visit from time to time. Without question, it was the best mouse trap I've ever used. You NEVER have to change the bait. You NEVER have to touch the mouse. And it works 100% of the time. Highly recommended.
Your title is redundant.
You're are redundant.
I know you are are, but what am am I?
Humans are the real pests. Poor mice.
That thing looks like a cross between a mailbox and a lunchbox
I hate that the common way of dealing with mice is to kill them. I had a few mice living in my kitchen a few weeks ago and I went around to at least a dozen different stores looking for live traps and nobody carries them. Every one of those stores, however, carried killing traps in various levels of gruesome torture (glue traps? seriously?).
I'm not willing to kill furry little mammals that are just looking for food and shelter, so I just set up some peanut butter under a box, propped up with a stick that had a string tied to it, and waited for the mice to come out. I caught three of them in one evening and I haven't seen any since then.
except rodents are evil...they tried to steal your peanut butter! I once had a squirrel attack my Burger King bag...guess he liked the smell of my BK triple stacker...anyways, definitely shook him off and would have stepped on him if he weren't so darn fast. And now I hate rodents, in general. (Now I'm looking for a sneaky way to get rid of my roommate's chinchilla, any ideas?)
You know, Europeans loved cute furry little mammals and shared their homes with them, too. It was all the rage back in 1339. Then somewhere between 30 and 60% of the population of Europe died when the furry little critters shared their little flea friends with us.
Mice, rats, squirrels, raccoons, opossums, or whatever cute furry little critter "looking for shelter" can look somewhere other than my house, my friend.
I removed a cute little mouse from home home once. I brought him outside and let him go. I found him in the house again the very next day. I did not particularly enjoy the crunchy little squish he made under my boot, but he did not return nor did he suffer long.
hay yoo mus be one them libruls they done talk about.
i shoot wolf from helikoptar
Glue traps are kill traps? and here I was whacking the trapped mice on the head with a boot to kill them.
I caught the Roadrunner the same way once. I ended up falling off a cliff subsequently. Not recommended.
There are plenty of good mouse-traps that don't kill mice. In fact, Victor makes a whole line of them (The tin cat line) which are regarded as some of the best (and cheapest) mousetraps out there (provided that you put a little bait in there). The key with mice is that when you let them go you have to drive them many miles from your house...(which I'm sure is a pain if you live in a city or dense suburb).
The other problem is that if you forget about the trap, then the mouse will die of dehydration in about a day (especially if you bait it with peanut butter), so if I'm out of town, or lazy, I think this is probably more "humane" than a lot of "catch and release" traps, but damn is it expensive.
I don't care, the mouses have been eating my food while I am trolling Engadget.
LOL
I'ld buy it if it's possibile to custumize it to say "Double Kill !!!, Multi kill !!!, Ultra kill !!!, Megakill !!!, MONSTERKILL !!!"
Unreal Tournament docet ;)

F'ing awsome!!!!
I'm buying me one of these. I had the earlier, one mice per trap model. This one looks like it can get the job done. The old ones do work but this one looks like it will get the pair on one setup. Usually, mice come in pairs so if you catch one mouse in your house then be ready to catch the second.
I hear the governor's office in Alaska placed a mass order of the things.
"The high-voltage shock is said to kill the mouse in 3 seconds"
Wow, real nice. Three seconds of utter agony. This isn't cool, it's simply disgusting. Not necessarily the fact it kills mice (even though I would never use any lethal rodent traps) but the way it's advertised as an uber-hip killer machine, making the murder of those little furballs great fun.
A gadget? To the morbidly minded, without much doubt.
At chefgon_ign,
I think the same way. Poor mice.
Sick gadget!
how is this not cruelty to animals? at least with a mouse trap the kill is usually instantaneous.
The game Mouse Trap would have been WAY more fun to play as a kid if THIS was what we were building!
Am I the only one seeing that it's on sale for $7.49?
http://www.victorpest.com/store/rodent-control/M260
I ordered one this morning for $7.49, but my order is now voided.
The price changed to $99.99. Seems a bit steep for a mouse trap....
This trap only works when the victim enter to the trap, but sadly mice can be anything but stupid.
Mouses learns from their mistakes, you can catch a couple of mouses utilizing a specific method but the rest of the community will not be so easily trapped using the same method.
I bought one of the Victor electronic single-mouse traps for $20 at Home Depot. Worked like a charm - put it in my garage overniht loaded with a little bit of peanut butter. When I checked the trap the next day, the light was blinking indicating the little bastard was zapped. This is great, as I didn't want conventional traps in my garage in fear my dogs would get into them. This company knows how to make a good trap, and it's cool for gadget junkies as well... anything with a battery and a blinking indicator... ;)
I think they should put these at the election polls tomorrow to trap and kill every idiot that wants to vote for McCain/Palin.
They could have Palin winking at the entrance, and McCain with his "lies to get elected" as bait.
At last! Someone has built a better moustrap. Quick, let's all beat a path to their door!
Wow, overkill. I hate mice but, damn.

Good stuff.... LOL
I hope they make something for cockroaches next...i would definetely buy one if they did.
Just think of all the meat you can donate to the local soup kitchen !
Cool, now all I need is a human-sized one disguised to look like an off-licence or pot-dealers house to catch all the chavs in my area.
I had a minor mouse problem in my 100+ year old farm house. The mice didn't fall for any of the standard traps. I got one of the single kill electric traps from Victor it did a wonderful job. It trapped the mouse fine. It electricuted the mouse and killed it probably within seconds and it collapsed on the electrodes. Completing the circuit that initially killed it over and over again. It ended up thoroughly cooked. Muscles involuntarily contracted over and over again causing it to twitch and flinch repeatedly. Kinda like those experiments where you cause frog legs to jump by applying electricity. I ended up going through three of these at $15+ each. Were gruesome and pricy but highly effective mouse killing machines.
This one fries them and dumps them in the catch pan. I will gladly pay $100 for an effective mouse killer.
For those believing in no kill, I also held those dreams and ideals. Right up until I was pouring cereal into a bowl for breakfast and dumped a live mouse into my bowl at 4 am. Now the must all die.
Less mice means more food left for the rats, the gigantic plague carrying rats, the fearing nothing- having humans for breakfast- rats.
How does this hate liberals? @.@
So who has hooked this thing up to Twitter? I trap that updates me is a trap worth spending a $100 bucks on.
Why has no one mentioned that this CLEARLY looks like the trap from Ghost Busters! I thought you guys were cool...
As soon as I saw the blinking light indicating full, my first thought was Ghostbusters (this thing even has a similar design).
SO AWESOME! the diamond tread is the icing on the carnage cake. Anyone who has had a mouse problem knows what a pain it is to clean multiple snap traps!
