Datamore Porté HDD enclosure gives your data funk and flair

The handsome devil pictured above is the Porté, available in Korea from Datamore. This sleek, stylish HDD enclosure is sure to make you the envy of your neighbors and a hero to your family -- not only because it allows you to increase your storage options via handy USB or eSATA, but because it looks so sleek and sexy doing so. Reminds me of some cheap "slicer-dicer" kitchen utility that would have been advertised via a midnight infomercial durring the late 90's.
WarMouse @ Nov 6th 2008 10:06PM
Looks like the exercise robot from the Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film For Theaters movie. Someone find a picture and prove me right.

Yeah well I'm counting, and I only see 15 pieces of flair.
John @ Nov 6th 2008 8:03PM
So why don't you just require me to wear more flair?
phanbouy @ Nov 6th 2008 8:05PM
now we observe the Datamore Porté in its native habitat... LOOK! it has captured a "hard disk drive" with its plastic claw hand as is digesting it as we speak.
Kevlar @ Nov 6th 2008 9:23PM
The Porté will eventually completely envelop it's prey, digesting its jucy data contents for potentially years to come.
When full, the Porté will hastily latch onto a nearby USB cable, where it will expell digested data at up to 400mbps.
Deusexx @ Nov 6th 2008 8:07PM

Personally, I'm not feeling it. We do have something kind of like that stateside though. It's the Eagle Consus M series.
They have it at NewEgg for $30 after shipping. I like how that one looks better anyway.

Why is that can opener attacking that hard drive!
yrag @ Nov 7th 2008 2:42AM
"sleek, stylish HDD enclosure" —Joe, you must have swooned when you saw your first Yugo.
The thing looks like a label maker back when Romania was behind the Iron Curtain.
I don't know, maybe clunky is the new sleek.
Kizul Emeraldfire @ Nov 7th 2008 2:50AM
Looks like something from Portal.
