V-Moda's Vibe II, platform shoes not included

There must be a fashion-forward young man or woman out there brave enough to sport V-Moda's new Vibe II with Microphone. These stainless steel alloy headphones follow in the footsteps of the popular (and much better looking) Vibe Duo and feature the noise-isolation, in-line handsfree microphone, call and music controls that we expect from the line. In addition, the 'phones possess "solid and tactual sensation comparable to the finest jewelry and watches." Right. If you'd like to see for yourself, these beauts are available for $128, exclusively at the Apple Store.

I had the exact same problem. Short in the cord just above the jack. I'm on my 4th pair with a minimum 6 week wait in between each return. Certainly would not want to wish vmode on anyone.
Yep. They are the best I've ever heard, but coincidentally, my left earbud just died on me today. I'm on my 2nd pair and I'm afraid I'll have to move on, hope I can find something that looks equal or better than the originals.
same sh.t. bought them in November of last year exchanged them 15!!!!!!!! times. Monday got another replacement, i figured I'll keep exchange them until they fix the reliability issue. It's frustrating when after 2 weeks they go dead and it's always same issue one of the buds goes dead.
Tried to get a refund with no luck so I wasted 100$ on peace of sh.t headphones.
I think my next exchange will be for the new ones, even they are ugly. Hopefully they fix those reliability issues.
hmmm, if these are anything like what v-moda has been selling, you definitely aren't going to be paying for quality and durability. If these pair of headphones were a car, it'd be a Caddy, brokedown but looking good.
it never goes front!
My second pair of V-Moda Vibe headphones just broke on my way to work, TODAY. Same ol sh*t where the left side of the headphones shorts out. I had them replaced a couple months ago!
I wouldn't touch a dog turd with these headphones. .. and they don't produce sound like they're worth the money either.
Biggest mistake I've made investing in these headphones.
Now, now, I think we could all use a little more color in our wardrobes. At least they're not boring monochromatic blah. Has anyone bought them yet? Sound quality? Comfort?
Yeah, my vibe duos have went for the second time. First pair lasted all of 3 weeks before they broke and it took them literally 3 months to get me another set. At least this pair lasted 2 months. I want to move on to something else but after dropping 100 on them its hard to just more or less drop them after technically only using them for 3 months.
