Best Buy's "doorbuster" Black Friday deals probably won't result in the literal busting of doors
We apologize for the cloying headline, but just wanted to point out to Best Buy that the whole point of insane deals and "doorbuster" savings is, well, those things. We're sure there are a couple things in this new Black Friday catalog to make a seven hour wait in below freezing temperatures -- to be followed by frantic hand-to-hand combat with other recession-hit shoppers who may or may not be Arnold Schwarzenegger -- totally worth it, but we'd really love to meet the person for which a $12 Guns N' Roses CD qualifies as such a purchase. If you're looking for a $380 laptop, a lame $300 Xbox 360 bundle or a decent deal on a crappy LCD TV, knock yourself out.

Best Buy had the best deals 4 years ago... its gone down hill ever since. The last 2 years I went to Circuit City instead. This year I won't be going anywhere, unless Target or Costco surprise me with something.
It looks like the only difference between the black friday prices & regular prices is..that one of them has "black friday" on it. I never really found anything worthwhile. Those PS2 greatest hits games? Still 20 smackers.
I laughed at that headline for a while...
wow first this, then the wii info at smas club turns out to be fake?
Blackfriday at bestbuy is just normal everyday prices at newegg..
just to let you guys know: best buy isnt having a black friday meeting(were they reveal the bf ad to employees until the 22nd), so dont believe everything you see. :)/
Best Buy will release a fake Black Friday ad one week before the event. Nobody, not even employees, know the real sales until the box of REAL ads arrives in each store between 2-3am Friday, November 28. This is a fact. Ask any Best Buy employee...
Guns N' F'n Roses mutha f'ers !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OMG! My neighbor's yard sale is better than this!
"probably won't result in the literal busting of doors"
brick+message+door = busted door.
LOL! these are discontinued items that they think they will sell. the prices are retail. what "sale" are they talking about? i think this will be the year of chapter 11's for B&M stores.
Check out the real deal on this ad at http://joeblackfriday.wordpress.com/2008/11/15/best-buy-black-friday-ad/
