Circuit City's Black Friday deals leak, no word on if it'll be open to sell things
Okay, so maybe Circuit City only formally closed 155 of its retail locations, but let's put it this way -- if we're up at 3:00AM and looking at which store to camp in front of, we're picking the one that, um, isn't bankrupt. All that aside, five pages of mildly delectable Black Friday deals have leaked for the company, giving you a full fortnight to think things over and handpick the bargains that you'll be hunting for. Of course, savvy online shoppers like yourself aren't apt to find anything here too fantastic, but we'd wager that even a $7.99 laptop sleeve is a far better value than a $12 Guns N' Roses CD.

Buyer Beware!! I bought a new desktop computer at Circuit City when they had the "back to school sales" at the end of August 2008. I have taken it back to Circuit City 3 times because it keeps dropping the internet. Circuit City sent it out for repairs 2 weeks ago. They just called me to tell me it came back in but I can't pick it up because it came back broken. The fan now makes a loud noise and the unit will not turn off or on. I went from having an internet problem to having a completely broken computer. They are unwilling to replace it, so it has to go back to the manufacturer to be rebuilt. Now I will have a reconditioned computer, which I could have picked up on the internet for a lot less money. Circuit City's attitude is that it is not their problem that it is now more broke than it was when I brought it in for the internet repair. Best to spend your money elsewhere-everyone will be having great sales on BF because the economy is in bad shape. Take what is left of your hard earned cash and spend it where they will back up what they sell.
Ouch the title is just straight cold! Burn on Circuit City.
ok think about this. For a company who is "supposedly" going out of business (and trust me they aren't. i work there) dont you think that should they have a black friday sale, that people are going to show up BECAUSE they think they are going out of business? They are going to do the typical ignorant "i dont know what chapter 11 bankruptcy is" thing and assume that they are going out of business and are gonna sell everything at way cheap. This is going to bring in enough business to potentially bring up stock maybe even to a dollar a share. C city isn't going anywhere.
Guitar Hero DS - $29.99!!
Only thing keeping me from that game was the $50 price tag
I worked for the piece of shit company circuit city for 3 1/2 years...I am fucking estatic to see that theyre closing their stores. I'm sorry for my friends who are still there but I honestly knew this was coming. As soon as CC launched their Firedog(fucking terrible name) everything went down hill. Heres a secret folks: DO NOT BUY THE INSTALLS FROM CC OR BB. I WORKED FOR BOTH COMPANIES ALL WE ARE DOING ARE RIPPING YOU OFF!!! Firedog would charge people 30 fucking dollars to make recovery discs that came in the box, they would just take em out, when you bought it. Best buy does the same shit. Im happy to hear that Cirucit Shitty is going away, good ridance and thanks for absolutely nothing you worthless fucking piece of shit company. Fuck Firedog and Fuck Cirucit City. Best Buy is a better store but becareful because theyre just as shady.
If you prefer to do your Black Friday shopping online, here's a site that is primarily featuring online Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals:

If this economy doesn't pick up, Best Buy might be right behind Circuit City.
