What? No mention of the Touch HD? :(
iEye @ Nov 14th 2008 4:57PM
iPhone needed more time to cover everything great... Sorry...
Nilay Patel @ Nov 14th 2008 5:44PM
The Touch HD isn't ever coming to the US -- we wanted to focus on phones you could get for the holidays. Thanks for listening!
Patriks7 @ Nov 14th 2008 6:14PM
Well you know, not only Americans read this site..
fikhl @ Nov 15th 2008 6:20AM
Ahh... I see your point Patricks7. I'm still waiting for the day when Engadget starts to act more internationally. %99.9 of coverage is US-centric. We love you too Engadget.
What? No mention of the Tube? :(
Boarderwoot @ Nov 14th 2008 4:29PM
What? Storm is 199.99 with a contract in the us while vodafone's got it for Free with a $70 contract? damn you verizon...
gonintendo @ Nov 14th 2008 5:05PM
I loved the GNR intro!

The podcast sure has gone downhill since Ryan and Peter departed.
Lax G @ Nov 14th 2008 5:16PM
to be honest that's what i thought at first, but I actually prefer the light heartedness of it now,
its like informative plus funny :D
(and if you really want, there's always gdgt, which is also great)

Great podcast! Keep up the good work, guys. I just discovered the podcast last week and it's amazing. Too bad it's over the 10mb limit on 2.2's podcast store (maybe it'll change by the time we get it? doubful...).
M @ Nov 15th 2008 12:17AM
I think the new podcast is unpolished. You guys need to focus on the production. Actually have all the information you need before you start talking. I am just not digging the new podcast. I had to turn it off after 10min. I tried guys sorry.
andrew @ Nov 15th 2008 3:54AM
Get off Androids nuts. WinMo is not as bad an OS like you guys make it out to be.
Burn @ Nov 15th 2008 8:08AM
You guys are being way too harsh on Windows Mobile. The X1 is an awesome phone and with the SPB panel you practically never have to see the Windows menus if you don't want to. I think the guys at Engadget Mobile didn't try it, they could have downloaded it at several places on the web, like xda-developers.

Listening to the podcast on my Squeezebox Duet.. browsing on my G1.
jonathan @ Nov 15th 2008 10:06AM
Hey could you put the podcast in an audio flash player like Autoblog used to do. Those of us with slow internet connections takes forever to download.
Simon Sage @ Nov 17th 2008 11:54AM
Application storefront is on the way, due to land in March.
As for developing for the Storm, from what I heard at the BB devcon, I don't think it will be that difficult of a transition.
If you think the Bold's browser sucks, it's a huge jump up from what BlackBerry used to have. Have you tried turning off Javascript? That tends to be a bit of a hangup.
I hear you on the keyboard shortcuts. I love 'em, and am worried about how they'll translate on the BlackBerry Storm.
Great podcast guys, I'm subscribing now. :)
