Application storefront is on the way, due to land in March. As for developing for the Storm, from what I heard at the BB devcon, I don't think it will be that difficult of a transition. If you think the Bold's browser sucks, it's a huge jump up from what BlackBerry used to have. Have you tried turning off Javascript? That tends to be a bit of a hangup. I hear you on the keyboard shortcuts. I love 'em, and am worried about how they'll translate on the BlackBerry Storm.
