Samsung's Q310-34P laptop reviewed: not bad for a first try
Okay, so maybe Samsung isn't entirely new to the laptop game here in the USA, but for its first line of self-branded lappies, the Q310 ultraportable didn't fare half bad in its first review. Critics over at Laptop Mag found the design of the 13.3-incher to be "handsome," the performance "smooth" and the endurance to be satisfactory enough. It also pointed out that the glossy display wasn't incredibly distracting as with other machines we've personally reviewed, and while they had a tough time finding anything major to harsh on, they couldn't help but point out that the $949 ThinkPad SL300 was likely a better value. 'Course, if money ain't a thang, you're probably safe to make a purchase here.

i like the clean look to it
I like the clean look of your mother
You JERK!
I'm not a fan of the touch of color scheme. All black please, and we will have a winner.
Do you mean the red Knight Rider bar?
some kinda wireless technology so that you can use a samsung tv/monitor wirelessly. i mean think a bout it using a laptop on a couch browsing away on a 30-60 inch tv, no wires. and more colors. and i don't know if this is already included but a backlit keyboard.

That's what she said.

Do you really have to copy his whole post and put it in a new one right underneath? I thought that was what the reply button was for. But i would really just prefer you ranking him up.
dude, you know what, i don't even know why i did that, lol. i must have had a brain fart or something... kinda out of it over here. sorry.
p.s. thank you to the jackass that ranked me down for trying to correct a mistake i made when i was completely exhausted and had no effect on your life at all whatsoever... thank you, thank you very much for that.....
kinda of subject but on the netbook nc10 ubuntu netbook remix option on a 16-32gb ssd for $400. and ubuntu on this.
*off
That actually looks pretty nice. I like how Samsung is trying to be consistent with the design and colour. First the TV's, now the laptop maybe the next-gen MP3 players will look like it too.
then the logo
samsung never really makes a bad product. A lot of my electronics are samsung and the company doesn't disappoint. For example, i have a samsung 910mp monitor and it had to be replaced and samsung replaced it no questions asked out of warranty =D.
you've never had a samnsung harddrive have you?
lol i have 3 and they've been great.
very clean lines
a bit overpriced, I'll be interested when it hits $659
it looks so so to me..................
'i' don't like the logo on the lid something tasty missing!
Looks like my toshiba u305 and specs are similar to u405.
No big deal. The devil is in the bugginess.
That was supposed to be for ocean/clak/whatever, stupid comment system. Apparently you can't reply to clak anymore? Maybe it's a "don't feed the trolls" feature.
Very nice product shot.

I too would be proud if i took that photo.
Get over yourself.
what they should do is design a led screen that looks like the laptop screen (making it glossy of course) and then have 3 ingenious cables coming out, one that plugs into power, you could call it say.... safemag, one that goes into the displayport and on that goes into the usb, so you have more than one usb port on the whole laptop.
They should also think about making these out of one piece of aluminum to cut down on cheapness.
I should of got that apple job...
It looks pretty cool, kind of Toshiba Satellite U305 Family of 13" Notebooks finishing man....
Ok, I'd just like to make a correction here. The first laptop I got was a Samsung Sens Pro 500. 486 with 150mhz, Windows 95 and 16mb RAM. So no, Samsung is NOT new to Laptops in the US. They were one of the first but they dropped out early. We got one of the first Sens Pros released for something like $5,000. I'm glad to see they've dropped their prices a little bit.
