Microsoft's new
Xbox Experience dashboard doesn't officially launch until Wednesday the 19th. But if you signed up for the preview (and who didn't?) with a valid console ID then it's available now according to Major Nelson. What's more, Netflix has confirmed its Xbox 360 launch details: more than 12,000 movies and TV episodes and
300 streaming HD titles. Remember, streaming is free for Netflix members who are
also Xbox Live Gold members. The HD video streams will be limited to SD audio, however -- multi-channel audio is in the works as are additional HD titles. Now get outta here kid, NXE awaits.

I was referring to the avatars and channel-ish feel. I own both a 360 and a Wii, and am partial towards my 360... just trying to be flip. You're right about the Netflix stuff.

a few years down the line its working for mr. W.i.i so mr. M.S just got jealous now he's on a uncontrolled rage warpath to get it back and covered it up with a new dashboard and all these extra functions

For those who have suffered through getting TVersity working, PlayOn is much easier to get up and running.

I just tried downloading the real version with the leaked version installed, but it won't update. Guess I'll just get it tomorrow. >.

Too bad no multichannel audio support. That might help drown out the jet engine that is my 360 xbox.
How XBox 360 users can continue to knock PS3 owners when they are being locked in and robbed by MS with those Xbox hard drive prices is beyond me.

The new Netflix streaming function is absolutely awesome, but I'm really disappointed Microsoft didn't fix the problems with Zune music streaming. The music player in the dashboard still can't play lossless audio back properly (it skips every 3 seconds) and Windows Media Center still won't play subscription tracks or load up my Zune playlists. Why can't Microsoft get this stuff to work right? For that matter why is Zune still separate from Windows Media Player? Just integrate the damn thing already.
I'm sure there will be an update shortly. My console and my friends both freeze up when we go to view someones profile and back out. That's another issue that will get fixed. Microsoft has been decent with getting the bugs out in a fairly decent timeframe w/ the 360.
