Jacked the idea of Netflix streaming? Since when did the Wii get that? Also, how would HD video work on something that is barely HD?
Oh you probably mean the Avatars, the least important feature of the update. Yeah wow, you got me thinking now. Too bad I sold my launch day Wii over a year ago because it had no games to play that were not just first party re-makes of previous franchises that offered no real innovation. You may say that MS stole from Nintendo with Avatars, but at least they added something to them. Unlike every Zelda, Mario, Metroid game released for the Wii which was just them stealing the same stuff from their old consoles and not innovating a damn thing, and in some cases, like Mario Kart, turning back the clock.
The Wii is only good for pawning off on eBay. It really hurts to say that because I was so excited for the stupid system and even waited in line for it on launch day. I am just super bitter because Nintendo dropped the ball so hard you could hear the crash from Mars.
I was referring to the avatars and channel-ish feel. I own both a 360 and a Wii, and am partial towards my 360... just trying to be flip. You're right about the Netflix stuff.
Innovative or not, the reactionary and conservative Ninty is laughing all the way to the bank. Why put your neck out there when you don't have to?
The device is aimed at gamers and TV watchers, generating a 3D image with use of a pair of 0.7-inch OLED panels, which each display separate images, doing away with the ghost imagery that often comes along with 3D displays.

I got it working on my Wii... oh wait, that's where Microsoft jacked the idea from!
