MSI unveils Neton all-in-one nettop models ranging from mild to somewhat less mild
MSI and Asus, having apparently found the bottom in the netbook race, are now working hard to find that magic point on the desktop. Asus has its B202 and all-in-one Eee Top nettops, the latter of which MSI is now countering with the new, all-inclusive Neton series. The smallest is the M16, starting at $400 and featuring a 15.6-inch 1366 x 768 screen -- exactly the same size as Asus's impending offering (coincidence, surely). Then there's the slightly larger but otherwise identically spec'd $500 18.5-inch M19, and finally the range-topping $800 22-inch M22, offering an HD-loving 1920 x 1080 display fed by an optional Blu-ray drive. As you can see in pics after the break the guts of the M16 have been placed into an unsightly, over-sized stand, while on the M19 and M22 everything is tucked neatly behind the monitor itself, making for easy wall mounting (more room for Coke cans and miscellaneous clutter). No word on memory or disk space, but each will offer touch-screens and will come with XP or Vista depending on whether you opt for a single- or dual-core Atom processor. The M19 ships first in January, the M16 next in Feb, and the M22 last in March.

You look so freaky Michelangelo, freaky-naughty even.
Go to encyclopediadramatica.com and search for lulz turtle.
Ok, so I have the m16 with the touch screen, now what software do I use to have it control my HVAC, lighting, shades, av system when I embed it in the wall - ok, fine, I'll need a ir blaster and an hvac interface - but where is the software?
Those seriously look attractive.. so does the Wind.. I think MSI is one of the best design wise in this market..
I'd like one of those models. The computer looks pretty cool, too.
anyone know the name of the model holding the screen........plz reply
Have to say somethin ain't it? That HOT model is not wearing a bra. That's why she's holdin it right there.
I would like to buy one for kitchen and sleeping room if it's quiet enough.
The design is not bad but if come with a light color (white or blue...)
Asian design now seems be better than before
If you're talking about the computer - sure, why not
otherwise - *nods* *nods* *nods*

She's hot... I mean that's a nice looking Laptop.
LOL She's so hot she has me typing Laptop instead of Nettop. ;) :p
More pics plz.
If that's the delivery person, I'll buy it.
Y'know... we can reduce the flame wars on engadget if every MS related post is accompanied by pics of asian chicks in bikinis. Or, if its a post on Apple, asian chicks in black turtlenecks.
Sorry Tim, no read what you wrote. But we like your taste in women.
Objectification and sexualization of Asian women, you're doing it right!
----------
Honestly,. Engadget, do you know what you are doing? Since I started viewing this website three months ago, I've run across about twenty asian models and two white ones - those two being Jeri Ryan and some girl exercising on an EA sports machine. Hardly what I call a fair distribution.
And don't tell me that the reason why you're posting these pictures is because companies like MSI and Asus showcase only asian models. Whenever I walk by an Apple store they have pictures of models, of both genders and of various races. HP and Microsoft are doing the same deal in their commercials. The only conclusion I can reach is that Engadget is picking only Asian models to sensationalize the blog.
Such behavior only encourages racist behavior, from aggrivating pick-up lines like "Me love you long time" to severe behavior such as the rapes currently occuring in Seattle and New York Times square.
I therefore request that you vary your pictures (since we all know you can't cease and desist on your Asian picture posts) with black, white, and hispanic models of both genders, so that all may be ogled in equal measure.
sorry dude, but you fail.
HP, Apple, Microsoft are American companies, thus do not discriminate against race or gender.
Asia on the other hand has well defined gender roles and is full of, well, you guess it... Asians.
So until Mexico turns into the tech capital of the world, you're stuck with seeing these prepubescent girls.
Problem is, there's not too many product launches in the US that show both models and gadgets.
Second, this is a tech gadget, not a political one. Thus, political correctness is not a must, just a consideration.
Finally, if you want to see Caucasian faces, you probably haven't seen the engadget ads.
Go and explore the ads, and let me know what faces do you see?
Try complain that to the FTC perhaps?
So, the rapes on Times Square are due to engadget readers drooling on pics of Asian models?
There was a monitor?
Ready to put osx86 leopard on it, bring it!
This is one of the first of these asian models I really find attractive. She's very pretty, yes.
most of the models are korean. could explain why you dont find them attractive.
that is soooo wrong.......but i agree
I really like the nettop model shown, but why is that big ass TV in front of her. I'd like to take a better look before buying.
Anyone thinks that Engadget should add a 'asian model' tag ? Let's massively comment this article and make that happen !
Wow, the SG is beautiful and so are the AIO PCs.
I love suck kinda showcase and the AIO PC will be my next-PC first choice.
MSI is bringing more and more attractive products, maybe she will be the next best spring brand among all Asia companies.
Go for that...
we all know that the reason people go to these kind of shows is to see the chicks and not the gadgets.
i pity their job their being horded by perverts with DSLR cameras and aiming where they shouldn't.
