Seagate expands FreeAgent Go line with yet more color options

Seagate kicked out a couple of FreeAgent Go hard drives a few months back, but it's now gone all out and let loose an even more colorful batch in the hope of attracting a bit more attention among holiday shoppers -- as usual, Festivus revelers luck out year 'round with the ever-present, aluminum pole-matching silver option. From the looks of it, the drives are still available in the same 250GB, 320GB, and 500GB capacities as before for $120, $150, and $200, respectively, and those that register their drives between November 28th and New Year's day will get a bonus multimedia package including 50 free songs from eMusic and some other goodies. You can also pick up a desktop docking station separately for $30, just don't expect to get it in matching colors.

The 500GB WD Passport (same concept) is going for around $150-$160. Just an FYI for people who are looking for portable storage without the power cords.
Just what I was about to ask... I need to get a 250 Gig Portable USB HD for data, is the FreeAgent Go better or the WD Passport....?
Theres a billionnnn different HDDs with different colors, and with no matching dock connector, how we will ever hard drive decorating peace? Lost me as a pissy color-hard drive custom.

Designer colors for hard drives? I'm sorry I think that's just lame.
A friend was watching youtube vids about modded controllers xbox 360 and wrote a comment about if you wave a magnet past you're 360 drive you're controller will become modded. An hour later we checked back and 100 comments were posted telling of their hatred for my friend even though we meant it as a joke and didn't think stupidity would make them do it. Moral of the story. Don't wave magnets near you're harddrive.
Finally, my data, the storage unit and my mood can all match one another. Life doesn't suck anymore.
