LG's snobbish Prada II phone and watch combo caught on glorious celluloid

We spied LG's Prada II strutting its stuff in some fancy photos yesterday, and here we are just over twenty-four hours later with a gossip-worthy video spectacular of the luxury house's second foray into handset branding. The lucky gent in the film beautifully demonstrates how the Bluetooth-enabled watch can perform such wonders as silence your ringer and retrieve text messages, all without laying a finger on the touchscreen, slider keyboard-boasting phone. We're pretty sure that you'll agree the video of the device is "not long enough," but just do what we did: watch it twice in a row (while lounging by the pool in a diamond tiara sipping a martini) after the break.

I won't mention what I recently exchanged my LG Viewty in for, but it was because the interface was beyond awful.

Personally, I think that SE has the best mobile phone interface, period. It's well set out, everything is easy to find and where you'd expect them to be. Plus, you can change the themes and the flash themes look very slick.

Cydia's good 'n' all, but I liked the good ol'd days of Installer 1.0. It was simple and effective. Now it's just complicated, cause theres three different apps to visit and half the time I just don't bother.

Nope, there is no Bluetooth profile for accessing SMS's, so it's done over a propriety link, probably over the serial port profile (SPP).

The Sony Bluetooth watches have been hacked to work with WinMo for reading all sorts of thing like SMS and other geeky metrics like calendar and wifi signal strength via the SPP.

Not sure I like having to press a button to see the time on a watch, or havign to seee when I want to glance at my SMSs.

i haven't used a touch pro but i've read that the lag is so bad its not even worth it.. same thing with the Xperia, which i was hoping could replace my iphone.. does yours not have that problem?
