My mother is in a nursing home with no internet connection. She lives 600 miles away close to my brother. She is hard of hearing like many people her age. So it is very difficult to communicate with her. I got frame so that I could send her pictures on a daily basis. The rest of the extended family also uses it. She says it gives her some thing to look forward to everyday. My only complaints are that the frame is small, there are no remote management functions and it does not play video clips. If they put one out that did this I would go out and buy it and replace the other. If it cost 300 dollars it would still be cheap for my purposes. It cost me 600 dollars each time I visit, when I can fined a weekend without other obligations.
