Mobispine pens tell all about their iPhone MMS app, doesn't exactly tell all

We've heard a few things about the Mobispine MMS app supposedly being developed for the iPhone, but the company's just answered a couple of questions, and we thought we'd give you a quick rundown. Interestingly, the app will utilize Apple's announced but delayed push notification, which Mobispine says is due "pretty soon," though carriers may use SMS notification in lieu of the service. The company says that the app will be carrier-branded, and that it will be up to them how much to charge you, the MMS-starved consumer. Mobispine says that the software will "probably" be made available through the App Store, "probably" because it's still in some vague phase of development, and has yet to be approved by Apple. Just let us know when the thing is ready, okay guys?

You know I dont mind not having mms anymore because everyone I know now either has an iPhone or BB. However its really starting to get old that they refuse to prioritise and add cut and paste. That never bothered me at first either until I realized how much more convenient it would be to have it.
The first rule about Apple's Mobile Push, you dont talk about Apple's Mobile Push.
AT&T USERS:
I am starting a post on AT&T's forums to protest viewmymessage.com and encouage the use and approval for Mobispine's MMS application. If you agree that AT&T iPhone users should be able to use MMS and the application I encourage you to visit http://forums.wireless.att.com/cng/board/message?board.id=apple&thread.id=63108, sign up to use the forum and make it known that you want this feature on your phone!
I'm getting the word out about this and I hope that other users that have an iPhone would agree on this. Thank you!
Flutter has been out for months now. It works on any carrier and you can get it at the app store.

Ever notice that apple posts have the most "highest rated" comments and "Lowest rated" comments in any posts.
I'm still waiting for that cut & paste feature along with the landscape keyboard mode. WTF!

Apple really needs to fix the terrible user experience using MMS on the iPhone. I make the case here: http://blog.mcmanus-family.com/2008/09/the-case-for-mms-on-the-iphone.html
I have my doubts that this will make it to the app store but I guess we'll see.
"The company says that the app will be carrier-branded, and that it will be up to them how much to charge you..."
Oh yip-dee-doo. And in the case of the greedy jerks at AT&T, they'll be sure not to include this in the overly-priced messaging package we're already paying for, but rather, they'll be certain we have to pay out five bucks for every MMS we send... or receive.
Forget that crap.
