Ditto. The rest of the world get no "Black Friday" deals.
/sadface.
Don't worry about it. This year's deals were anything other than "deals" no matter where you look.
i guess it really was a doorbuster deal in that long island wal-mart, eh?
too soon?
ROFLCOPTERS
Plenty of deals online for me not to wait in any lines this morning. Use Live cashback and other coupons to get some really good deals.
oh i'm trying to win. I'll be here all day. seeings how i'm out of work this week :-{
me too...
You link to HP's Thanksgiving Savings Event is broken.
Yeah the sales were nothing you couldnt find on your own online with some time and thought.....
Just a word about the HP/Live cashback. I got on bright and early at 7 this morning to get me a new sweet HP Touchsmart tablet. I logged into the Live, and I already had a Windows live account so it was easy. So I configured my tablet and and added it to my cart it was smooth sailing up until the end. When I submitted my order it said that it could not be processed and then I got and email telling me that I had to call HP to sort everything out. They gave me a reference number to give over the phone, well needless to say I am fighting for the 25% cashback. I guess they don't want you getting $400 back on a $1600 tablet. Interestingly enough, my order wasn't processed but I call my credit card company and HP had no problems taking my money with out processing. There seems to be something strange going on.
doc,
I believe cashback has a limit of $300 on any purchase, it's in the rules somewhere. I don't know the exact amount.
Well, i looked over the faq, didn't see any limit there, just $2500/year.
I agree with the above comments about no real deals this year...except for Fry's offering a Panasonic 42 inch 720p Plasma for $599. That's the lowest price at a brick and mortar for decent 42 inch that I've ever seen...even if it is 720p and the base model.
Fry's does this deal every couple of months regardless.
Newegg's Deal on the Onkyo 876 was effin amazing....from 1699$ MSRP down to 899$....
Looks like the home theatre will be done by christmas now :)
any Blu-Ray players on sale?
Hush and make with the giveaways!
Engadget giveaways are the only really good deals today
OpenLabs.com just announced (and i mean just) that for today they are selling their Miko LX workstation for $700 off including free shipping in the U.S.! still expensive, but a solid choice for those of you who grew up going to raves in the 90's, and still want to "live the dream" of rockin a party daft punk style.
Yeah if your one of the 2% that wins !!!
I would be happy if I won a t-shirt or something, hell anything for that matter.
just testing this comment
Yeah, there seemed to be less people out there at 5am this year...
Oh thanks, Apple. Your deals are so amazing. Remember, folks these ridiculously low prices are only for one day.
for my birthday today, i went to best buy. no no, not for the sales. no i went for something much better. i watched hordes of people fight over crap that they didn't need. i love black friday. beats football anyday.
the deals this year have been rather disappointing
HP and Microsoft links must be getting hit hard. Have not been able to get thru for the last few hours.
Well, Walmart's door-busters must have been good, because people at an Arkansas store DID actually bust the doors, and managed to trample an employee to death in the process. Good F'ing game, people. I'm sure it was totally worth it. = \

Ugh, I meant NY. Walmart's based in Ark.
