Remember not so long ago when Sprint CEO Dan Hesse said that Android was "
not yet good enough" for the Sprint brand, and how weird and awkward that was,
all things considered? Well, it turns out that Google's VP of mobile technology, Rich Miner, is set to deliver the keynote at Sprint's mobile developer's conference on December 12th. We assume he'll be there to talk about how much he loves hot dogs, or... an Android and Sprint teamup. So, does this mean that the platform is now approaching Sprint Speed, or what?
I want this really bad, but all I care about is keeping my sero plan. I'll do whatever it takes to keep my sero plan because I know that I'm not getting a damn thing close to it for some time.
Who cares. Sprint is dead. It will be tomorrow if not today.
Hmm now i shall hold off on buying the Touch Pro! - Can't wait to see whats announced =]
Sprint will be releasing their Android handset in Q1 which will be a re-named CDMA version of the HTC 4G Max. It will also be the inaugural handset operating on their Wii Max network. I do not know what their next International phone will be however.
I'm sure it's a typo but Wii Max for the Win! :p
sprints sucks
"...Sprint's mobile developer's conference..."
They only have one developer? How can he have a conference?
This would be great for Sprint. I'm personally not a Google fan by any means but I hope the G1 comes to Sprint for those who want it. I'm waiting for a WM7 device myself.
Whatsup with the doctored photo? Notice how the screen isn't square at the top? ...Engadget normally posts actual pictures of devices, not lousy photoshops. ...Unless it's the Google phone. ;) ...Fanboys.
Any update on what was said in the keynote? Any official announcements?
