Toasting Charger: for batteries, not bagels

Don't get too excited: the Toasting Charger is merely a concept, at least for now. Still, it always brightens our day to see products that call to mind this most beloved human food. Simply pop in the battery, push the lever on the side and well, that's the beauty of it... you already know how to use this little guy. There's also a helpful LED on the front to indicate the progress of the charge for the hopelessly impatient. "Toasting" your lithium-ion batteries is, at first glance, a little weird, right? Nope. Pass the jam, please.

The concept is great but unfortunately there are just way too many different batteries sizes, contacts, voltages...
One toaster model might be able to take a range of batteries, say for instance all Nikon batteries or something, but once you get a Canon camera you'll have to buy another toaster.
they could include a series of adapters.
Said adapter could fit right in the slot area.
I like my batteries toasted to a golden brown served with jam.

At first I thought it was a Apple brand toaster, but then I notice there was no apple. I'm sure someone will make one for iPhones and iPods.
Sorry, but this is really stupid. Since when does a "concept" (aka somebody's college art project) become a gadget worth reporting on?
I hope this becomes reality. I'd so buy one for my digital camera batteries
