Brando's latest mini-keyboard: blue backlight, impossible to type on
There's no denying that Brando has a special place in its heart for shrunken keyboards, and the latest addition to its product line continues the trend. This appropriately titled "Wireless Illuminated Super Tiny Keyboard" is a slim 15mm, has 56 keys, and operates wirelessly via an included dongle. Yeah, it may not have Bluetooth or handy media keys -- but you can't argue with that electric blue backlight. If this info has got your fingers twitching, you can order one now for $47 with shipping expected by "end of December 2008."

And there's no cursor/arrow keys, function keys, pageup/down - how could you use that for, say typing a letter or.. anything really?
Brando will make you want to use your keyboard in every day tasks, like television, or romance, or HELICOPTER REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE.
looks like an accessory for wii or something.
It doesn't have any mouse functionality either?
Meh.. No less functional for typing that a blackberry or similar mobile keyboard. This might be just the thing for those who only occasionally need to type into a computer, for example an HTPC which is primarily controlled by a remote control or perhaps as a remote keyboard to use from a distance.
Also I've found the need for an extra keyboard when Windows XP suddenly craps out the bluetooth service on me and thus I can't use my main wireless keyboard.
Clearly not the thing you'd want for a primary typing keyboard, but I would not be so fast to say it's "impossible to type on"
This is going to be one of the best keyboards for Car PCs ever!
Small enough to be put into a console somewhere in the dash.
Back-lit so I can actually type at night in the car!
no bluetooth = fail
Marlon would love it.
...
Good god, was that one lame.
I'm going to get one for my Wii, it's perfect!
This will be great for use on the xbox360 maybe? Small little keyboard for those sad moments on live messenger. :)
Nice keyboard but, where´re the left-right-up-bottom arrows?
I ordered the Brando wireless mini keyboard / mouse combo that was on Engadget a few months ago. They were out of stock and didn't tell me until I emailed to ask where my order was. When it finally came (three weeks later) the trackball didn't work. Now that I've had it for a couple months the M key has stopped working, which, since it's one of the letters in my password, makes it pretty much impossible to log onto my MythTV box. Good stuff.
Is it me or does that hand look really long... like a monkey. Did monkey-men design that?
Does anyone else think that picture looks a little odd? Looks like the fingers and thumb are abnormally long. I'm thinking the keyboard is not as tiny as it looks.
