Crapgadget: Dead Santa edition
Nothing celebrates excess like a holiday murder immortalized in 10 bucks of USB-powered plastic. The Mini X'mas Desktop Snowman USB Aquarium Office Gift (really, that's the name) features a built-in motor that keeps Santa's corpse and undelivered package in constant motion. Festive, sure, but only if you share The Snowman's contemptuous glee at becoming the number one pitch man for the holidays. Hurry, only two left.

WFT??
E71 @ Dec 17th 2008 6:18AM
That's because it's the snowman's turn to reign over the north pole.
Gad Get @ Dec 17th 2008 6:44AM
@ GingerFox
Actually, it's "WTF," not "WFT." To keep it straight in my head, I find it helpful to think of it as an acronym for "Wednesday, Thursday, Friday."

"To keep it straight in my head, I find it helpful to think of it as an acronym for "Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.""
Because you often forget what a acronym means when you go to use it?
Impressive

What I love is that the site selling this thing states that the "built-in motor creates a current for the included Santa Claus and claus gift (yes, they are fake)".
What? Fake? They look so frickin' realistic!! o_O
Aguiluz @ Dec 17th 2008 6:49AM

I knew the snowmen would take it too far one day.
Hashbrown Hunter @ Dec 17th 2008 7:06AM
Actually it looks like the snowman and Santa are getting kinky.
derX @ Dec 17th 2008 7:21AM
Hashbrown Hunter, now that you mention it, doesn't look like Mrs. Claus is going to enjoy seeing this.
...or maybe she will.
Really, it's not my place to judge.
Anthony @ Dec 17th 2008 7:09AM

Santa dies but frosty the snowman is in perfect condition and you blame global warming? Hmm...
Chris @ Dec 17th 2008 8:05PM
Santa is a very sensitive guy. He's like frogs.

Saint Claus isn't dead yet. Go saint Claus!! I'll place my socks on the fireplace..
Ethan @ Dec 17th 2008 8:55AM
I think people are missing the real WTF here: the USB port on the back of the item is type A, which is for USB master devices. The cable they give you to connect it to your PC is delightfully wrong - type A on both ends!
Just wait for someone to try connecting two PCs with that cable. I hope their PCs have good power protection circuitry!
jason @ Dec 17th 2008 10:45AM
this christmas is "rooo-eeeen'd"
