Thanks, I'm not the only one who read that to sound like "castrati". No need to add emphasis by making an ironic connection to the size of the thing. Still...

So what? My existing projector fits in my pool, which is subsequently filled with wine.
Who is this aimed at? people who have to the latest gadget just cause they need to spend money?
And no one should say the business man on the go, anyone who's trying to do a presentation that brings this out will not be taken seriously.
I'd guess this is more of a proof-of-concept than anything else.
I'm guessing this is aimed at someone who says, "WTF?? Stop aiming that damn projector at me!!"

Well sure, it'll fit in that Pinot Noir glass, but will it fit in my Sauvignon Blanc or Riesling glass? Didn't think so...

We made it. The BOM cost is about $110 and reseller price (1k base) is only US$120~130.
I don't know why people must pay $299 to take it home .. it's too sad for me.

If my math is right (which it may not be), ten lumens is 0.7958 foot-candles, which is the amount of light produced by a single candle that's about 0.7958 feet away. I don't see how that could be right though - I must be making a mistake somewhere. Maybe a physics major could correct me on this...
