LG Prada II shows up in exhaustive photo spread

We've gotten a few decent looks at the LG Prada II in weeks past, but the Daily Mobile Forum has happened upon a veritable treasure chest of views of the device in glorious detail -- which, if you didn't already know -- is now on sale in Europe. Lucky devils. We've included a few of our favorites after the break, but hit the read link for all 17 (Yes, seventeen!).

drop the "prada" labeling and im sure a lot more people would buy it :)
ipodrulz @ Dec 21st 2008 9:51PM
I'm sure a lot more men would buy it, but at the same time they'd have to drop the price tag and it'd lose serious "brand-age"...
Matt @ Dec 22nd 2008 9:26AM
meh. I think most European men would not mind carrying around a Prada cell phone? The social make-up of France is a little different than the US.
Flashpoint @ Dec 22nd 2008 12:13AM
I bet you iPhone would be even better with this exact design. I doubt they would actually do it though - especially now that LG has already shown a concept model.
fairlight @ Dec 22nd 2008 3:32AM
@Matt: and that from someone who lives in a country where clam-phones are actually used by men..
There's nothing more feminine than using a clam-phone
EI8HT @ Dec 22nd 2008 3:42AM
have women started shaving their legs in france yet?
ZIG @ Dec 22nd 2008 9:07AM
I see nothing wrong with owning prada, they also make wallets and watches.. it's a very decent phone and i don't see why a man would feel emasculated if he held one..
jamesatnyc @ Dec 21st 2008 9:15PM
Prada is good, LG is not.
I'd rather buy a decent blackberry than this one
Sparkie @ Dec 21st 2008 10:59PM
Don't know why you were ranked low. Def agree with you, never a fan of LG, Prada is good. Prada blackberry? Word.
Glenn @ Dec 22nd 2008 3:42AM
I totally disagree with you both. Now make me bright blue readers.

This is a phone - not a dress. It's unisex. Just like bannanas.
Metkis @ Dec 21st 2008 9:37PM
Whoa, looks like there's some sweet play on that keypad.
collegekid13 @ Dec 21st 2008 9:40PM
is that seriously a black and white screen
seizure @ Dec 21st 2008 9:55PM
It's probably just a black and white theme. There are a couple of pics where the screen is shown playing media in color.
Mobius_1 @ Dec 22nd 2008 6:35AM
What year is it?
jon @ Dec 22nd 2008 12:23PM
hahaha yea that was my first too, b&w????!!! havent had one of those in about 6 years.
patriotsn1 @ Dec 21st 2008 9:44PM
Does it come with the stick you have to shove up your ass while using or do I have to buy the stick separately?
Gerardcon @ Dec 28th 2008 6:34AM
It depends. They told me I didn't need one because I previously owned an iPhone and Apple kindly shoved one up there for me already.
Gerard @ Dec 21st 2008 11:04PM
Oh and if you do need a stick I have extras. ATT sends them to me in the mail every month. They call it the $30 iPhone data plan but that's probably just a marketing term for please bend over.
Vinnie @ Dec 21st 2008 9:45PM
Damn, that's a good looking phone
iKrolm @ Dec 21st 2008 10:14PM
It's slick, but it could use a different control layout. Who wants to slide the phone open every time you want to navigate the menu? And those arrow keys are way too small...
Garst @ Dec 21st 2008 9:48PM
You're going to be paid to be given a two year contract for free, right? And I'm not talking about one of those shitty 350 minute plan, I mean one of those "everything included" plans.
Fernando @ Dec 21st 2008 9:52PM
I hate how daily mobile never mentions their sources, and if they do, it's just a small "eprice" in the end of the article, leaving you to navigate the site in chinese to find the original article
LTM @ Dec 21st 2008 10:01PM
huh??.....is that interface for real or am I missing something like that there isn't all that much to get excited about.
Brent1700 @ Dec 21st 2008 10:27PM
uhy hasn't this been released in the US? havn't they figured out a
lot of americans would give their first born for this phone??
Shugg @ Dec 21st 2008 10:44PM
u really think Americans will pay 868$ for this ,when u can get iPhone as low as$149.,,,what world do u live in?this just another overpriced lg.
noyp @ Dec 21st 2008 10:50PM
The American women who pay hundreds for Prada purses would gladly have a matching phone.
Eternal @ Dec 21st 2008 10:56PM
I have the iphone and yes im willing to pay for the phone/watch combo the phone is like the classy supermodel of all phones IMO. For me Phones have to look great and be a great brand and the original Prada was awesome a friend of mine had it, I'm infatuated with this phone :-)
Shugg @ Dec 21st 2008 10:49PM
Is there anyone here in the USA that would pay $868 for this lg over $149 iPhone,.,.?seriously .,
Patriks7 @ Dec 22nd 2008 5:26AM
Obviously, this phone isn't aimed at you..
Ian @ Dec 22nd 2008 10:01AM
The iPhone requires a long contract. This the outright purchase price. I don't know why people always make the $199 vs $868 argument (or $699 at other stores) when the iPhone would cost around the same price if you had to buy it outright. This is judging the phone based on the outright purchase prices in Australia and Hong Kong. The Prada Phone's price is fine, as you're getting a good phone that's normally expensive anyway, but at an over-inflated price due to the Prada label. People who care about labels are probably willing to spend another $250 for this phone due to the name on it.
siostra-rana @ Dec 23rd 2008 12:40PM
The Prada I was brought to the US as the LG Dare/Vu (with "slight" modifications). I'm sure they're gonna drop the brand name and also call it the Dare/Vu II
drewdoog @ Dec 21st 2008 11:05PM
at least the keyboard looks somewhat usable
Hotrod @ Dec 21st 2008 11:21PM
Let me get this straight, you apple haters say the iPhone copied this piece of shit?
Brian @ Dec 21st 2008 11:37PM
because everybody says that the iphone was the first of it's kind, when the prada was announced 2 months before.
TicTac @ Dec 21st 2008 11:30PM
Seriously! What's the appeal of this phone (besides being endorsed by Prada)? And that $868 price tag is absurd. I did a quick search, and found it for $699.95 at http://www.elite-electronix.com/lg-prada-ii-kf900-unlocked. I still think that's too much for this boring looking phone imo.
CleverEndeavor @ Dec 21st 2008 11:32PM
wassup with the black and white screen? i would prefer a htc touch pro over this stuff
drumdbeat @ Dec 22nd 2008 12:54AM
Hows that going for you Jimbo?
Anton @ Dec 22nd 2008 1:19AM
