Is AT&T down for you?

We're getting way too many tips on AT&T being down for it to be a coincidence -- how's it going for you? Both EDGE and 3G are pretty spotty for us at the moment in Illinois, but they're working in NYC, which jibes with reports of a Midwest-specific outage, but we're also hearing there are troubles nationwide. We've pinged AT&T for an official statement, but in the meantime let us know if things are working for you wherever you are.Update: Still haven't heard from AT&T, but we just rolled back into Chicago at 5PM CST and we can't connect on either EDGE or 3G. Let's hope things get better, and soon.
Update 2: According to AT&T, a power failure in Bloomfield, Michigan is the culprit, and techs are working around the clock to get everything back up in the Midwest. We're told rebooting phones may help -- it didn't do anything for us, but it might be worth a shot.
Update 3: It's back up, at least in Chicago. How'd everyone spend their day off-grid? We mostly threw the sad face at our NO SERVICE display.

Im in seattle, my 3g was down a good portion of yesterday. actually almost all day but about the last three hours, today so far fine on this end of the us
Edge wouldn't work earlier but works fine now. I'm in Pittsburgh.
3g has full bars in Ellicott City, Maryland
AT&T is definatley down for me here en Sweden.

West burbs of chicago here...down since 11...came up for about 5 min at 2:45, and now down again...no service at all!!!!
Down on an iPhone 3G just north of Chicago, but oddly up on a first gen iPhone in the same place.

Full bars 3G and all working fine here in Columbus, OHIO - was just in BFE (aka Rio Grande, Ohio) about 2 hours ago, and was working there as well.
Fine yesterday, fine today in chilly Cali! Hopefully it's back up for everyone soon.
3G works fine for me on my iPhone in Raleigh, NC.

Strange -- I didn't realize ATT was even in Sweden.
Now -- service still working in SW Indiana. I suspect that storm system last yesterday afternoon evening that roared across the midwest knocked out a lot of towers.
Level 3 was having issues early, could be related.

It looks like it is ONLY ATT's Edge network and not the 3G network (iPhone uses this network). My wife and son have an ATT phone which is Edge only (small E icon) and they have no service. I have an ATT phone with 3G and I have service as normal. I am in central Michigan.
Detroit metro area. System down all day, so far. As typical, very poor ATT notification or support.
No AT&T in Belgium!
Western Suburbs of Chicago are down and out 2G and 3G. The Apple rep told me they are hearing it all around the country and AT&T has a trouble ticket open with a time to resole of 72 hours.
I'm in Seattle and I haven't had any trouble with 3G or anything.
AT&T working fine here in Atlanta GA for me.
Phoenix AZ @ the moment having full bars on iPhone 1st gen, however Camp Verde/Flagstaff area on Christmas and Christmas eve calls kept on disconnecting.
Mine wouldn't work here in Iowa earlier today for a good solid couple hours. And 3G was acting up in Des Moines. Freakin AT&T.
No problems in Orlando Florida

I have FULL BARS of 3G in the North Suburbs of Chicago....just tested opening a website and it worked, but it was pretty slow...

No, that's The Point. They're not.
I think its silly that it was down all day, and i had to read about it here. nothing, and i mean nothing from att, customer service closed on sundays? stupid.
Cincinnati, OH is down. Can't receive texts or calls, but sending is working.
Let's change to Sprint/Nextel

When it bounces to 3G, it has one bar to nothing.
3G was screwed yesterday though, and the internet isn't
working for me anymore as of a few hours ago.
No service in Milwaukee with both of the iPhone 3Gs in the house. SIM card in old RAZR works, however, only one of the SIMS.
I couldn't receive calls this morning - I'm on 3G here in West Allis (Milwaukee sub for those of you not in the area). The funny thing is that making calls worked fine, sending/receiving texts and data worked fine. Called support, dude had me remove my battery/sim, then he reset the account and I was finally able to receive calls 2 hours later. Apparently they've been having issues all day, and supposedly the entire state of Michigan was down.
Oh and the gf was having the same issue (now fixed after the reset), but she's on edge with her bb curve.
Seems fine in Madison.

Earlier today I couldn't access the App store/ the internet on my iphone....but now all is good here in Baltimore. I think
Att down here in detroit. All day! This is nuts. I suspect high winds attributed to the problem. Never had this problem before with the service.
Working just fine in Boston, 3G @ normal levels.
