Is AT&T down for you?

We're getting way too many tips on AT&T being down for it to be a coincidence -- how's it going for you? Both EDGE and 3G are pretty spotty for us at the moment in Illinois, but they're working in NYC, which jibes with reports of a Midwest-specific outage, but we're also hearing there are troubles nationwide. We've pinged AT&T for an official statement, but in the meantime let us know if things are working for you wherever you are.Update: Still haven't heard from AT&T, but we just rolled back into Chicago at 5PM CST and we can't connect on either EDGE or 3G. Let's hope things get better, and soon.
Update 2: According to AT&T, a power failure in Bloomfield, Michigan is the culprit, and techs are working around the clock to get everything back up in the Midwest. We're told rebooting phones may help -- it didn't do anything for us, but it might be worth a shot.
Update 3: It's back up, at least in Chicago. How'd everyone spend their day off-grid? We mostly threw the sad face at our NO SERVICE display.

Gainesville Georgia here, and My 3G has been working fine.
3G is new here in Gainesville, but I haven't been on edge in a few weeks (since 3G came to gainesville)
No problems here.
3G/EDGE appears to be down here in Omaha as well.

It's 4:15 and I just got 3G service back. It's been down since around 12:00...

So very down in Metro Detroit. No service since 10 am. Well, a few emails got through, but that is it. Frustration!
Definitely a midwest problem. Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin and Iowa are all down on the data network, for me. (been driving all day.) I am in Dubuque, IA, and like the rest of the places I have been I have voice and text (analog GSM) but no data whatsoever.
Ohio here....3G is out...
Everything is working here in Dallas I got full bars on 3G, and the Uverse service is working fine as far as I can tell.
I have absolutely nothing on my iPhone 3G here in Southeastern Michigan. I had voice service for about 5 minutes and then it just randomly died again.
iPhone 3G down in Chicago completely for me.
i live in miami and ever since i got my 3g its worked perfectly fine!! even up to the standards apple says it supposed to work :)
No service here in the Flint MI area, No bars and when you call an att cell number you get a message that says " all circuits are busy now " or " The number you have dialed is no longer in service "

AT&T's been down for me since I canceled their service 8 years ago!
Chicago got absolutely hammered with weather yesterday. Maybe something critical got taken out.

2 Bars 3G...this is actually an improvement im typically at full EDGE.

Haven't had any trouble here in the Baltimore, Maryland western suburbs all the way up to York, PA. Five bars of beautiful 3G. Our 3G coverage was expanded dramatically this fall and we now have great and widespread 3G. Pandora comes in with no buffering on our trips now. John

my 3g iphone has no service, everyone else in my family has spotty edge...
cell calls to land lines work and texting works, but cell to cell calls say number unassigned and calls from land lines to cells say that the numbers have been disconnected.
I'm in Wichita, KS and 3g is up and running. Don't think you can get more midwest then here lol.
Nothing in Logan Square in Chicago for the past almost 6 hours. Here's to hoping they fix it soon.
3G is spotty but my edge phones are completely dead. Even on my 3G phone i can't dial some non ATT land lines. Weird stuff.

I'm from the Detroit area and no one i know with ATT can make calls or text. My girlfriend's iphone can still get online so i guess that means 3G is working? It shows full bars but nothing works.
I should also mention my razr wont even update the time..
Definitely spotty around the Milwaukee area. Both 3g and haven't seen any data network cone up besides my wifi obviously :/

Definitely no service over here in the south suburbs of Chicago (Orland Park, Mokena, Tinley Park..) Been like that for at least 5 hours now. None of the 5 lines on our plan are working either.

Northern Ca, south bay, GPRS works and is slow as usual..
I had issues with my EDGE here in South Miami about a week ago...It wouldn't work here, then I'd leave this area and it would work fine in other parts of the Greater Miami area.....Thought it was a *me* thing, and although it's fine now, thought I'd share it here since I see that someone else says they have problems.
Denver is doing good, haven't missed an email or text message all day.
EDGE working fine in Northern Virginia.
Birmingham, AL has been good, but I dont know about the 3g im using an unlocked G1 so I can only speak for EDGE.
no service (still) around Flint, MI. It's been out most all of the morning.
I'm living in Miami, but my phone is still listed w/ a Detroit-area area code, and I don't have service. Not sure about 3G or EDGE because I have a POS Nokia candybar. I've tried to call friends in MI w/ AT&T on my sprint phone, but the calls aren't going through.
Not only is it working in Athens, GA, but I'm now getting 3G coverage where I didn't before.
