AT&T pushes U-verse to Lansing, Michigan

Flint and Saginaw aren't too far from Lansing, and apparently it's the latest town in Michigan to get AT&T's U-verse. According to a fiber-craving local who has been plugging his address in for months in hopes of getting good news, he finally got the reply he has been looking for. In at least some parts of the city, U-verse TV and high-speed internet can now be ordered, and we hear Sparty is quite happy to know of the additional competition.

Sparty's from East Lansing, man. I admit they're close, but I don't think you'll find any MSU students say they go to school in Lansing.

Can't wait till I get uverse in my town. I was in my local AT&T store in Rome, GA and asked about the uverse advertising on the wall. The rep said it was coming in February. The VRADs have been in my neighborhood since July.

I don't have the service nor am I affiliated with AT&T, but in using the service in a friends home I was very impressed with the very user friendly interface. It was very intuitive & provided DVR functionality in all four rooms from one master set top box in one of the rooms. It was supposedly a lot cheaper than there later Dish service.
