This is REVOLUTIONARY!
I'm impressed. I would be even more so if I could get confirmation of that video output. Am I right that not even Apple's docks let you pull video through the dock connector?
How do these ipod docking stereos sound? I just got an iTouch from Santa.
You mean your parents?
Every time you call it an iTouch, a cute kitten dies. You happy?
Looks like a nice dock though...

The more you know!
You've made every iPod Touch owner shudder.
It's called an iPod Touch not an iTouch.
And you didn't get it from Santa, you got it from your parents dressed in a fake beard made of horsehair and a pillow shoved down their shirts.
Happy now?
I love a good roast!
tracdoor fails, though, because he just repeated what the posters above him said. Strange.
Oh yea. Here's a Top Gear Top Tip: Since I now have an iPod, and the white Apple stickers that came with it, the iPod is officially uncool. The cool kids no longer have iPods.
Question- will this have the gsm blocking for the iphones to eliminate buzzing?
Or...His girlfriend.
Above (stupid)...
i think it looks very 1990's broken school stereo, not a fan
It's not supposed to be a fan.
Why do clock radios/iPod docks always have such ugly displays? Even if the rest of the design is nice, I'm always turned away by the ugly digital numbers and letters.
It would be cool to hack the iPhone display to match the low-tech look.
I really wish there were iPhone sets like this that had the kind of cradle the Altec ones used to (http://tr.im/2rg9)
It's so fragile/dangerous having it rest on top at an angle unprotected like that. And it's not very practical for pressing buttons while it's docked that way. I sure would like an HD Radio + iPhone stereo though....
Does anyone know of an alarm clock with an Ipod dock but no radio (FM/AM/HD)? HD radio is pretty lame, and there really isn't any use for FM/AM either.
Why not have it, just in case? Some times you just want to hear the news.
Looks nice, but how does it sound?
I just recently got the iLuv i177 which has just about all of the same features (looks MUCH cooler too) except the HD radio. It sounds great, and I love the dual alarm clock feature. I think this product will be quite enjoyable for those willing to spend that kind of money.
What's HD radio?
The US version of DAB (Digital Audio Broadsacting).
Meh. No network connection/internet radio. Useless for me.
The new iLuv sounds coolm but I am looking to buy a Jensen JIM-525. Do you think HD Radio is really worth the higher price? I read conflicting things. This site http://www.hdradioreview.com seems to say yes, but looking for more advice. Thanks in advance
Just don't bother to use the HD radio part in Washington DC. Evidently 9 HD stations have pulled the plug on it in the last week. Look for more signs that HD radio is on it's way out. The theory is that the stations that turned off their HD didn't want to re-up and pay the licensing fees. 12/31/08 was the last date they could broadcast in Hybrid Digital, since it wasn't doing well, why pay for it?
