Motorola Aura gets unboxed

We've seen it up close and even knocked-off already, but when it comes to a $2,000 phone, we're guessing that a proper unboxing is as high on your list of must-sees as it is on ours. Thankfully, the folks at T3 have come through and done the honors and, as far as unboxings go, this one certainly doesn't disappoint. As you can see above, the phone comes packed in a rather stylish and sturdy box that likely won't be seeing too many trash cans any time soon and, of course, the phone itself is looking as envy-inducing as ever. Hit up the link below for plenty more shots, and keep an eye on T3 for a complete review that's promised to be coming soon.

i thought they laser engrave your name to the phone?
if i had $2000 to spend, i'd get this phone. The first thing i do is grind this phone's screen against the iPhone's to see if the sapphire glass is really what they made it out to be :D
Can't wait to flaunt my $2,000 dollar Motorolla Aura cell phone while riding with the top dropped on my $1,500 Pontiac Sunfire.
I don't like it. It looks like a remote control ... or something..and it seems huge
I'd buy it if it had a functional OS like s60. But it would need wifi and a nice camera as well.
Folks in the US seems not to favor 3g yet. Especially Motorola.
But again I used to have one of those Motorola Startech that I bought for close to 2,000 with no specs.
There's something creepy about the look of that phone, is that just me? Because really I feel there is, weird.
if you can't own one, stop commenting that you wont pay even 10$ blah blah. its not meant to be a smart phone!!!!
the phone looks amazing, what if it was a vertu?? would you still comment that my N95 is worth more than this, its got N-Gage!! and its symbian!
It makes me laugh when people say that they wont spend 5000$ on Rolex because it is plain watch with hands.
Their Casio is better coz it is digital and got a stopwatch and alarm!!!
your commenting wont stop people from buying this beauty you mindless gadget freaks!!!
Rolex has always made high end precision watches that lasted lifetimes, if not longer. That's why they cost so much,
Motorola makes the Razr, which most of us have had to replace 3 times because it breaks if you look at it funny.
Motorola is no Rolex
It better be packed full of blow.
