Engadget is live from CES 2009!

That's right -- it's CES time again at Engadget! It goes without saying that this is one of the most exciting events of the year for us, as CES presents an almost unyielding vista of new gadgetry to play with. We'll be covering all the news you could possibly hope for (and then some), including press conferences, keynote addresses, and lots and lots (and lots!) of hands-on encounters with every piece of new tech we can find. You can be sure we'll be updating the site minute-to-minute as the news flows in.
You can view the news in the regular format that you're used to here on the front page, or you can head over to ces.engadget.com, where the stories are presented in shortened versions so you can see more of what's breaking. We've also reorganized the sidebar to the right to keep you informed on all the biggest stories, and there's a ticker on top of it that'll let you see what event is up next.
So sit back, relax, and get ready for the craziest few days in consumer electronics you'll ever see. Don't say we didn't warn you!

Have fun at the adult entertainment expo next door!
I just bought a new HDTV so you can count on something incredible being announced in HDTVs.
Snape kills Dumbledore.
Buzz Killington kills my buzz.

I cant get DNS lookup for ces.engadget.com, is it a separate IP address or is it CNAME? In case of CNAME, does anyone know a public DNS I can use which works with ces.angadget.com?
ces.Engadget.com
Not ces.Angadget.com...
ill be there on the 9th!! woo!!
...why is it good that jobs isnt dead?...
...oh wait, your from the bizarro universe right?...

Guys,
I wonder what you are doing there so early...
Don't gamble too much (don't go all in with your equipment - there are still some news to be sent this week) until friday.
I'll probably see you guys around there.
Ahh i don't have to wander down to the strip, deal with ticket lines, crowds and the endless junk, i can relax at the strip club instead and have all the data waiting at home, thanks engadget !
that logo fit nicely on the welcome to las vegas sign
Yeah, but you can tell it's a photoshop: The reflections are all wrong.
Can't wait to see what Samsung brings to the table for HDTVs and also all the new (hopefully Profile 2.0 ONLY) Bluray players...
CES ain't what it used to be.
How can you have CES without AEE at the same time?
Can we get a CES only RSS feed? Thanks
This is better than Christmas!
this is one of my favorite times of the year, i get so excited. you also know that G4 broadcast's from out there to, or well records, but still better then reading 9000 posts a day. its impossible to see everything unless you watch it on tv for the most part, which is what ill be doing.
oh and im def going out there one day. not next year or maybe not the following year but one day i am.
