Are any of these pico-projectors that are coming out capable of accepting D-SUB VGA, DVI, or HDMI input? To me, any projector that doesn't seems like a frightening waste of money.
Honestly, since they've mostly been 640x480, they seem more like a frightening waste of a DVI port. The VGA port, in conjunction with most netbooks having VGA but no comp/svid out, could make a little sense (and Axims, too!), but still I think of them mainly for handheld game machines and smartphones, all of which have TV-out.
The Chromebooks are here, starting with Samsung's Series 5, a cute little number that promises instant-on access, 3G connectivity, and long enough battery life to web surf with the best of 'em.
