They mean it's a fake but still don't realise you can get red/pink/green/blue/orange/purple iPhone cover for $10 off chinese eBayers. It's complicated to install but available nonetheless.

'iPhone' is in the font Arial. Apple's latest corporate font is Myriad, I believe.
I believe it is actually Myriad Pro.
It's Myriad Apple.
You can tell what happened here, they thought the Apple font was Helvetica and then remembered Arial is a blatent cheap rip-off of Helvetica — that's why they used it.

It's a debunk. Lots of sites today are passing this off as a viable spy shot of a red iPhone to be announced at Macworld this week.

Yeah, I found this when they reported the pink iPhone. Already bought a gold for myself and a red one for a friend. :)
Oddly enough, those case replacements DO use Ludica Grande/Myriad (Pro) or whatever font face that looks closer to the corporate Apple Font. Not a bad find, but I can't imagine these aftermarket housing replacements are all that great.

You just need to look around the logo to tell that it was a forgery. Not only is part of the logo out of focus - intentionally blurred - but the edges show clear attempts to manipulate it, photoshop-like.

Neither of those iPhones on the read link are iPhones. People who own one can see that clearly. I compared my black one to the one on the pic, mine looked much thinner. Why didn't they show the front? Because it doesn't look like a real one...

it's a faker, usually on the back, there always going to be an IMEI and Serial number on the bottom and I don't see it on that one.
