Say it ain't so, AT&T: reports of another East Coast data network outage
Were you hoping to spend the day glued to your iPhone or BlackBerry, keeping an eye on our live Macworld coverage while in the office? If you've got AT&T on the East Coast, you'd better make sure your wireless data connection is operational. Just like in September we're getting a number of tips from people on the right side reporting outages and error messages when attempting to connect. Meanwhile we're not finding any issues out here in SF or Vegas, and the Midwest appears to be going strong after last week's shenanigans. We've pinged AT&T for deets, but let us know -- what're you seeing on your end?Update: We still haven't received official word either way, but by the sounds of it data is back up for at least most of you. We'll keep after AT&T for some sort of confirmation.

AT&T, when called, says that "some users in (your)my area are experiencing difficulties with Internet connection. AT&T is aware of the problem and is working on it." I'm in Boston. Nice preview of what will happen on January 20th. I'm just staying home in front of the TV.
iPhone 3G has been perfectly operational all day. Email, phone, txt, web all with out hiccups.
yeah i heard they gonna reroute all iphones to vzw for the next week.,.,dee dee deee.,
Can't see anything mentioned about the Midwest, but 3G on my iPhone has been intermittent at best yesterday and today. Have five bars of Edge fwiw. Cycling the phone or turning 3G on/off does nothing. It just sits there searching for a bit, then decides Edge is ok for me.
I'm in Milwaukee.
Auburn, NY - was out this morning at about 9:00am but is working fine now.
We all know that Verizon is the better and more reliable network.
AT&T is the reason why probably i wont be buying the iphone
Still getting no data messages in Appleton, WI.
