Kogan's Android-powered Agora gets handled on video

Color us believers, friends. Not only did we catch the Agora in full glorious -- albeit blurry -- color yesterday, we're now seeing it handled by some lucky type who owns a video cam that's able to focus. We're pretty stoked about this device and with a dash of luck we may have a chance to check it out ourselves in the next few days. Video follows the break.

I'd rather get a muffin...
Seems fast, i just hate that damn silver bezel
Seconded.
Low-res screen, small screen, unnecessary bezel around the screen, actually thick phone for the specs...
But yeah it's fast, has a front qwerty and runs Android so it's not all bad.
hopefully this is just a "proof of concept" and not the final product.
gotta remember that they only showed us renders a month or two ago...
From the Kogan blog that posted the video: "The model you see here is a pre-production model, so the silver bezel around the LCD will actually be black in the phone you will receive."

Is that the google earth app the user runs for a bit early on? I didn't think it was out on the android platform yet.
wtf is with the scribble noises!!!!
Why see blurry images when you can see clear one on

FYI, both this vid and the blurry pics came right from the official Kogan blog --> http://www.kogan.com.au/blog/2009/jan/7/photos-and-videos-agora/
Also, those "clear" pictures are just renders - the OS screenshot was just shopped on top of the phone, without even keeping the aspect ratio straight.
Wow, another typical overhyped android running weak handset. Who the heck gonna buy kogan here in the states, exactly. Has the word "tank" written all over it,.:)
@digitallysick The final model will have a black bezel, not silver. This is a pre-production unit: http://www.kogan.com.au/blog/2009/jan/7/photos-and-videos-agora/
reply button: have you heard of it?
i'm sorry, that was uncalled for
its called a backspace button...ever use it?
11 comments so far. Ouch. So is the screen capacative? I checked the specs and it said touch screen. Sorry
just a guess, but it looks capacitive to me. doesn't look like the screen gives at all when he presses it.
i know, office space x 10
i guess that concerning mobile phones ... 2009 will be the year of the android as every manufacturer will try to release many phone to people eager to try this new OS but will nokia let go and join the android wagon ?
Hopefully, Nokia will stick with their own OS. Why?! Because I like competition; Android, iPhone, Symbian, and Blackberry competing in the mobile OS space is good for consumers, as each of them is forced to up the ante to try to one-up the others.
Nice but I'm waiting to see reviews of Lenovo botphone instead. I hope it's out before my trip to China
