Sony Ericsson's C510 Cyber-shot hands-on

Sony Ericsson, while dwarfed by big brother Sony's launches at the show this year, did at least show a couple sets today. The Cyber-shot C510 will be released in a triple-band GSM single band HSDPA version for Europe, a quad-band GSM triple-band HSDPA, and a triple-band GSM version for China. Feature list includes a 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus, Smile Shutter technology that detects a smile a immediately grabs the shot, Snapfish, and YouTube for quick video uploads. Engadget Mobile were kind enough to give it a quick once over, hit the read link for the info.

Well I guess that means the SE (as I thought) division isnt closing. TV's are in along walkmans, vaio's, hifi and I dont see playstation going anywhere. Sony pictures makes too much money to drop so maybe its the DVD/BR players.. Anyone else have an idea?

SE is making alot of bad phones, and design wise, everything's looking very much the same. Was a big fan of SE, but with stuff like iPhone and Blackberry Storm, hard to see this going anywhere.

i want a cheap phone with a decent camera, i'll be aware of the specs of this one
and not everybody needs thousands of options in a phone that they will never use, only to say they can do it

SONY's BD players were the most sold products during holidays
and BD is the next format as Digital Distribution which makes up 0.3% of total movie revenues is just Microsft's fanboy dream
SONY isnt restructuring anything as SONY is projected to make profit this q4 ( october - december)
