Palm's Pre gets its own spot on Sprint's website
Merely minutes after Palm shook up the mobile realm with the introduction of the Pre, Sprint -- its exclusive launch partner -- has already hosted up a dedicated website for what will unquestionably be its flagship device. Currently, all the site offers is a way to get informed of when it'll be out, but that's all you really need at the moment, now isn't it?

This will be mine when i get back from Europe in May. And I'll be eligible for upgrade. Can't wait.
I'm happy sprint is getting this phone.
1. I'm on Sprint.
2. They don't cripple their phones.
3. CDMA has better fringe service than GSM. Where I live ATT and TMobile drop calls all the time. Sprint/Verizon/CDMA call quality is the same regardless of how many bars you have. As long as you have signal you can make a call. Good luck doing that on ATT/TMobile/GSM where 1 bar = no service basically.
wow.,wondering if A $300 PHONE WILL SAVE SPRINT ??1-2 YEARS TOO LATE,.
wow.,wondering if CAPSLOCK HAS HELPED YOU IN ANYWAY IN THAT SENTENCE??,.
Not only the page, but it looks like Sprint has some keyword advertising going as well, based on the ad that is now showing at the top right of my browser window.
Only if you could tilt the keyboard when the phone is in landscape mode...this would have been awesome...its still pretty nice though.
May be some manufacturer will come up with something like this.
I like this..... ALOT....... But Im worried about detethering from my winmo phone....... As Im looking at the treo pro here comes the palm pre dammit all!
It could be just my connection but the palm site is a bit buggy with the new pre.....
Watch Palm Pre at work!

No, that's not all we need to know. We need to know if it will require specific plans, a la the Instinct. I want this phone bad, but I'm not going to give up SERO to get it.
Cheapest Everything plan: $70/month
SERO plan: $30/month
---------------------------------
Difference: $40/month = $480/year...
exactly, I ain't giving up no SERO for this.. although I will bitch and bitch at Customer Service until they add the phone to my SERO. (has worked in the past for some people to get the Instinct on SERO)
finally a good phone on sprint. i have been on sprint for like five years now i can be happy. sprint is not as bad as everyone says. the only thing in my opinion that they suck on is customer service, but i have had few dropped calls and my call quality is good.
