40-50 Dollars and I would buy it; it's really nifty. 200 is insane.
That really is unbelievably expensive for what is basically a powered USB hub with no data lines.
In fact, any normal powered USB hub would do the same job whilst also providing you with a whole load of useful USB ports.
I'll stick with my iGo. :)
Yeah, $200 is stupid. It a cool device, but there simply aren't enough materials in it to justify that ridiculous price. I hope they plan on selling virtually none.

Wow, this looks really useful, i can't remember how many times i have felt the need to charge 6 devices at once.
Oh, that's right, never.
It looks expensive, but it comes with some extras, PC/Mac charge cables, data cables, worldwide AC adaptors for different power sources etc. I think this will be a real prize for many people because it is so compact and versatile. The short cables alone save heaps of space for travel. I don't know why people have to be so scathing when they are obviously not in the target market. There are plenty of things in this world that are way too expensive for me and do way more than I need, but I don't feel the need to pile crap on them for that.
A micro usb hub is the best way to go. There is ZERO difference about the callpod...except vendor lock-in and cost.
With usb I don't need to buyin to proprietary adapters...anybody's usb cable will work.

How did they get a MagSafe license from Apple? Last I heard they weren't allowing any other vendors to make those connectors...
Exactly what I was wondering. If they found a way to include Magsafe in this setup, I would be 100% on board...

I've had a horrible time with their customer service department trying to return a set of dragon bt headsets that were gifted for X-mas. There are definitely better companies to deal with.
