It never ceases to amaze me how two faced people can be. When this reporter was at my booth at CES, he commented on how cool he thought the iCap was, and how great it sounded. At the time, my booth had 8 to 9 other people at it who were all saying that the iCap was a great product and were asking how they could buy one. Upon Kevin hearing all these praises, I commented to him that the consumer loves the product even if Engadget doesn't and that Darren Murph was a moron because he should have written a factual review of the product. Upon hearing this, he agreed with me and said "yeah Darren is like that". Now, he has made a complete 360 and has done the same thing. All I can surmise, is that being a douche bag is part of the job qualification at Engadget. Since Kevin is a two face, he really should use the other face because this one would make any product look bad. The iCap is lightweight, has incredible sound, and is selling very well despite the efforts of some untalented petty people.
Is it just me or do they assume that we know everything necessary about the items to make a judgement. I must vote for the I-cap as the best since "it saves lives". I have no idea what its real purpose is, or any other item, since there was no description whatsoever... I guess supplying us with additional (read: "usable") information would have been to time consuming.
Now that we've thrown 'em off the trail, use the form below to get in touch with the people at Engadget. Please fill in all of the required fields because they're required.
