I have no idea what just happened. One might say it defies all logic.

Actually, if you read the ad from the C1-Quantum site, the watch supposedly has "infinite precision," not "preciousness." Still ridiculous, but at least this seems more...erm...logical for a watch.
So...what exactly is "quantum" about it?
Theorizing that one could time-travel within his own lifetime, Dr. Sam Beckett led an elite group of scientists into the desert to develop a top-secret project known as Quantum Leap. Yes, you're right, I just read the manual. and the manual says that the minimal adjustable unit for this piece is not second or minute but 8 years!!!! Just make sure you don't spin the setting lever the wrong way.
So um... what DOES this "Defies all laws" watch actually look like? Don't tell me it's a gooey fetus with gears inside, because if so, the only laws it would be breaking involve Fetal Tissue research!

Hilariously the original link is indicating a gateway timeout code. Apparently the Stargate program has opened a quantum wormhole to a black hole and the cross mojonation is leading to a loss of time.
What sucks for them is that they were working on this PRIOR to the economy taking a dump.
When times get tight stuff like this just looks silly, as it has no true purpose, nor does it advance the state of the art in any appreciable way.
Put it in a museum, because otherwise it's just a bauble for the hyper-rich.

Its the inside of a watch. You have probably seen Concord wrist watches before. This is the guts from inside one of them. The dial on the side shows the seconds.

Sooo....... It tells you the wrong time. And then when someone asks you tell THEM the wrong time. And everybody says that can't be possible, it defies all logic, the sun is up, it cannot be 02:43!
