2eleven introduces souped-up foosball table

It's not quite as elaborate as some foosball tables we've seen, but this new rig from 2eleven will no doubt attract its fair share of attention nonetheless and, unlike some of those other units, it's actually pre-built. While there doesn't seem to be a complete breakdown of all its intricacies, the table does come equipped with some LED score displays, a pair of LCD displays apparently intended to display advertisements, an automatic ball lift mechanism and, yes, cup holders. Of course, those accommodations for ads would seem to suggest that this one isn't exactly intended for home use, but we're guessing at least a few folks out there will find a way around that.

Every time I play foosball I'm so drunk, it matters very little that I'm actually playing WITH a foosball table...
yeah! wanna play? *tries to keep standing up".....
just gotta love Swiss beeeeer...
CUP HOLDERS FTW!!!!!
There's nothing that can't be improved by adding cup holders.
except cups, cuz cups with cup holders would be just plain stupidity....
or would cups with a built in holder in fact be the most genius thing ever
@Kamil & Paul Hildebrandt
You two do realize that a cup is in fact, a holder itself, right? It holds water, or any other fluid for that matter.
Ever so slow day.
woaaaah
Why is it called a _foosball_ table?
Just a stab in the dark, but...
... because you can play foosball on it?
What language is foosball then? We call them kickers. It sounds like German, but it's not.
@el Capitan
According to Wikipedia: "The word ultimately derives from Fußball, the German word for "football"."
kickers? I'm assuming you're british?
Wikipedia says it goes by many names in the US but I've never been anywhere in the US where foosball wasn't the term used; I'm guessing it's the most popular one here.
In Britain and Australia I'm pretty sure too, it's called Table Football.
I am actually German, but live in NY. I've come across the term many times and always assumed it was refering to the German 'Fussball'. This is however the first time i'm seeing it in writing.
In Germany they are called Kickers and are found in pretty much any every pub. There are leagues, movies, and websites that test pubs for the quality in their kickers. It's crazy!
In every English speaking country it's called Table Football, except of course for America where they have to call it something different.
In France we call it "Babyfoot" or even just "Baby" (pronounced "Bah-Bee")
And we get telescopic bars and proper handles too. I never got how you could play on tables like the one above.
I'll have a Bonzini over this any day of the week, thank you.

That thing is adorable trankzen, I'm sure your kids love messing around with it. Now if you were planning on actually 'playing' foos, then you could come over and play on my Tornado http://www.southernfoosball.com/extnl/tourn2000.gif
;)
wow
I like the fact that it makes us feel like we're growing in future technology.
I would've rather seen it done to an air hockey machine.
So, where is the IPod dock???
2eleven...
Geez, they can't bust out their creativity caps, and decided to go for 5 less than 7-Eleven >_>
There is an apparent Foosball-company naming schema that escapes me.

Advertising?! I'm gonna knee that table in the groin, that's what I'm gonna do. *crack*
I'm sure crotches the world over will enjoy watching the advertisements
Lol, a cyber TACA-TACA.
I was waiting for the iPod dock too. A real intense game and a table can take a beating, wonder how much this one can take.
This is the kind of make-over that pinball needs...
There should be sensors on the table and in the handles so that when someone scores it creates a replay video from the information and shows the animated version on the screen.
But can you snake and do aerials on it?
They should have installed tiny cameras various places on the field and allowed you to watch your match afterwards with an optional slow motion. Imagine how awesome that would be! :-)
I love me some foosball!
I would never buy/use a foosball table that doesn't feature telescopic bars and interchangeable handles even if it did have a fancy LCD display. As a guy, playing foosball on a table without telescopic bars is too great a risk, if you catch my drift. ;)
