Yes fluke def. But this would be great for a coworker.....you dont like. Just slip it in their bag, walk off, and watch the proceeding "WTF?!?!" when they're on a job site.
Any lineman who packs that is the most manly of linemen in my opinion. After all, you've got to be VERY secure to pack something like that on a job... O_O
Ha, If a customer saw me pull that out of my tool-pouch, Id think they'd loose all faith in the quality of my work.. Not to mention the laughs I would get...
Its called a Butt set.. Plz get your terms right..
It works a lil dif than a reg phone.. Yes you can make calls and get calls, most let you test CallerID functions, but the thing that really sets it apart from a reg phone is that it can tell you how much voltage is on the phone lines and you can pull out the Dialtone to check the quality of the phone lines (static and such)
Now that we've thrown 'em off the trail, use the form below to get in touch with the people at Engadget. Please fill in all of the required fields because they're required.
i fkin lol'd
I should buy this for my sister.
Ohhh, i need this next to my bed.
Looks like a robot's sex toy.
Boy that is just weird, but not as weird as that Hello Kitty automatic toilet paper dispenser. I don't think that one can be beat.
that's to go along with his bob the builder tool belt
Actually , next is the Batz-Maru tone generator to go along with it.
This is the ultimate kitty gear. >_>
I wonder if I should buy this for my girl friend...
She, will either kill me, or be happy about it.
Ill soon find out, and post what happens lol
Good luck buying one. I custom made this one.
Is it really that difficult to get a shot of the whole thing? I mean I really don't need it but i'd like it...
Jay , you can see more pics at : http://www.flickr.com/photos/34400218@N03/sets/72157612581586445/
Judging from flickr, apparently he can fix phones but not frame a shot very well. Everyone is cut off.
nice
I will stick to my Fluke, thanks.

I like it. Every word is a link.
oh to be 12 again... I'd be the envy of all with kitty on my side.
Should be standard AT&T issue...lol
I am a lineperson for the county...
much better use of hello kitty branding: http://www.kittyhell.com/2007/12/28/hello-kitty-ar-15-military-style-rifle/
although batz maru might be more appropriate
I was going to say "Why. . . ?" but then I realized, "Why not?"
What really scares me is that at LEAST 3 people had to have thought it was a good idea...

The one commenter on the site had a good point, NOBODY is going to steal that.
Is that a functional phone? or is it a bud set?
It is a bud set.....a shitty one at that.
Ha, If a customer saw me pull that out of my tool-pouch, Id think they'd loose all faith in the quality of my work.. Not to mention the laughs I would get...
Wouldnt be pretty..
Its not called a bud set..

Grr.. Plz fix the comment system..
That last comment was for Brandon & Projectdecember
Actually the terminology is used both ways, so it's not really a set term. It is exactly as engadget posted, a lineman's headset.
You should make Hello Kitty 66-Blocks next. Ultimate Japanese influence on our infrastructure.
Lineman+Hello Kitty=Pedo
That ain't right!
Is Hello Kitty the most successful product from Sanrio ??
