Cigarette lighter camera shows there's nothing more patriotic than espionage
Sure, Lady Liberty and a bald eagle are great symbols of American freedom, but they're also perfect covers for keeping tabs on your friends. Ajoka's cigarette lighter video camera discreetly records 640 x 480 or QVGA in AVI format at 30 frames per second and supports microSD up to 8GB. It's got a lithium ion battery for 6 hours of filming and is charged via USB. Best of all, it's still a working lighter -- perfect for cheering up your favorite band's love ballads and simultaneously bootlegging the performance. Your local spy shop can order these wholesale for $150 apiece.

Why are you holding that lighter like that? The eagle looks like it's staring at me...put it away...
What's sad is the fact that it is ahead of the iPhone in some ways. Maybe I'll get this instead.
Kings going to have to update is new Camera Phone Predator Alert Act bill to include lighters too.
I hope this camera is not breaking any future laws that requires devices like these to make a clicking noise when recording. In this case it has to anounce itself every 10 seconds "spycam".
Oops, somehow my previous comment did not post. I find these little spy gadgets hilarious. I grew up a huge James Bond fan so this stuff is great. Funny!

WTF is this stupid blog you post??!?
was that webpage designed in 1997? my god, i almost had a seizure and i'm not epileptic
awesome.
Even more interesting that the lighter is the "Obaba" spy belt buckle - showing the head of a "handsome black man", hmmm

I like how the Mini USB ports is screwey and the screws are nearly stripped out.
A lighter? How 'Mad Men' can you get?
Meanwhile, for today, it'll be great for espionage only if the shots you want you can accomplish standing in a wind-swept alcove, outside, at least 30' from a building's door or ventilation system...
DISCLAIMER:
Makes obnoxios beeping noise while recording in compliance with Predator Act!
can someone PLEASE give this to someone as a gift on the set of avatar?!!
The photographer guy had one of these in Roman Holiday. All they did was finally make it digital.
Where can I buy one of these?
god, could've been so much more awesome, and almost worth getting. most of it's already been said, but:
- more discreet mic hole
- cover for the bottom
- is it refillable?
- camera on the bottom probably would've been more functional
oh well.
buy one in ajoka hahaha
