mobiBLU's A10 UFO player may lift off when playing Jefferson Airplane
Is it a portable media player, or just a media player? Should it be worn around the neck, or simply left on the living room table? These questions and more become yours to answer should you choose to invest in mobiBLU's A10 UFO. All we're told is that it's available in glossy red or glossy black and that it features Bluetooth, support for a multitude of file formats, a built-in battery, headphone jack and 2/4/8GB of internal storage. If you look carefully, you'll notice that the red version is actually already starting to float upwards upon the strumming of the first chords in "White Rabbit." Far out, man.

One of these in my shirt pocket would make my workouts look, er, awkward.
Oh this would slip into my pocket and fit nicely in the palm of my hand, and that gloss is sure to keep away the fingerprints and grime *raises eyebrow*
Who-ever gave the greenlight to this should be stood up against a wall and shot.
too bad there's no size comparison pic.
I think it would have a much better chance of lifting off when playing Jefferson Starship...
Or Yes, Boston, or Parliament.
I have some Altec Lansing speakers on my computer that use a downward-firing midrange for the base of the left and right speakers. Plus a separate subwoofer, of course. They work out okay.
Here is their product page. You can see the everything you ever wanted to know and more.

Looks pretty cool. If the price is right, I'd be interested.
It could just be me, but it clearly says Bluetooth Speaker under UFO. Certainly takes all the mystery out of it...
Jefferson Starship, man, Jefferson Starship!
Honey...where is the rest of the blender?
Hmm... That gave me an idea.... If they had some kind of wireless induction powered media device, paired with either magnetic or fan powered levitation, that while off would rest in a cradle and when turned on would hover up above the base... Completely functionless but a cool display piece.
It kinda looks like it should be some kind of transducer, that makes your table into a speaker. That would be cool. Otherwise, why make it look like a speaker that's facing down?
